Risen 2: Dark Waters Collector's Edition (PS3) for £12.98 at Zavvi.

(Warning: this version of the game supposedly has a lot of technical issues, like frame rate drops and such)

Arrived today.
Holy shit, the collector's edition is awesome.

Pirate flag is the same size as the poster. And the artcards are really high-quality (and awesome as well).

And I double checked. actual game was included as well lol

That's a lot of stuff to put in a drawer and never see again.

Grrrmmmbbbbllll

"9. GameStop also reserve the right to refuse to accept any game for the purpose of this GTA: V Trade-In Offer at their discretion without giving any reason."

:lol

Yeah. No.

Seems like you got it fast too. The artwork looks nice indeed.

No point in leaving that drawer empty either. ;-)

Someone should tell Tesco that the Xbone isn't called 720 "anymore" :P

Anyways currently Tesco Direct have £5 off a £30 or more spend off pre-orders by entering code TD-PW9T at the checkout:
http://www.tesco.com/direct/gaming/pre-orders-games/cat15940025.cat?&icid=gaming_main_slot2

Word of warning though, they take the money upfront.

Also, you get 1000 Clubcard points (thats £10 back) when you pre-order Diablo 3 (any platform). So coupled with the £5 off, you can pre-order the game for £25 for current gen and £40 for PS4.

It's also quite sad to see how few pre-orders they have for the WiiU compared to Xbone/PS4 (14 vs 30/32).

For anyone looking to get Mario and Luigi this week. That voucher works with it too! Knocks it down to £25 - mind when I ordered my copy, they claimed despatch would not be till saturday.

Bit wary myself because my last order with them was lego city and it got completely lost in the post, or the system just didn't process my order right. Got my copy free in the end though XD

GAME have the worst stock system ever. They have MotoGP 13 PC for £5 so I set up an alert. Got an email at 1am, checked straight away not in stock. Got another email few minutes ago. Still not there.

Yeah I went back on my Fire Emblem 3DS XL. Waiting for the drops people are thinking may happen.

My Very 3 for 2 (and £30 off new customer) games arrived though. I have Animal Crossing, Luigis Mansion 2 and Donkey Kong Country Returns sitting in front of me but no 3DS :'(

What does everyone think of this?

Potentially a very good deal but seems a bit dodgy.

Gamstop have updated the list and claim that the list will remain valid until the offer has ended.

Still seems far too good to be true. F1 3DS for example is available for trade-in and could be bought for £5 at CEX. You could potentially trade in two copies of that and have GTA for £15 net.

So to clarify on this deal, I purchase the game for full price now, then say next day send them the 2 games, then I get £30 refunded within 10 days of them receiving them?

Or do my games need to be sent on September 17th?

No, you pre-order the game now, they then ship the game to you along with a trade envelope, you put the 2 games you want to trade in that envelope and send it to them, then they refund you so that you only end up paying the £4.97.

I think I might actually do this.

If that's the case they will take 90% of those games off of the list by then!

For UK gaffers only 3 for 2 on select 3ds Games at Very.co.uk. I've heard pretty bad things about their customer service but this deal was too good to pass up. Not alot of choice and some recent notables missing such as Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter and Mario 3D Land. But it's about the quality not quantity. Oh and it gets even better if you are a new customer signing up to their credit account using the following voucher you get £30 off so it's more like a buy 1 get 2 free lol.

3PHV7 = £30 off a £60 min spend

Nabbed myself DKCR, Animal Crossing and Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros. for £34.95.

The Wii U prices make me nervous. Over the last weeks most shops had the basic model for 200€ and there was the rumour the model will be discontinued and shops are emptying their storage with cheap prices.
But this week most shops here (Austria) have increased the price back again with amazon even up to 265€.
And now I'm uncertain what this could mean. Last units in the storage that are sold at a higher price? Wii U selling better so shops have adjusted the prices for higher profit?
I don't want to pay more than 200€ for a Wii U but hadn't really planned to buy one so soon (I wanted to wait until Bayonetta 2), but I don't want to miss it in case the price stays higher for the next months or the basic model does indeed get discontinued and then only the expensive premium model is available which probably won't get a price drop to 200€.

Yeah the GameStop deal seems too risky for my liking. No way can I see them accepting most of these games in a few months time despite what they say.

Same case for me. I ended up biting the bullet at just under 200€. I got monster hunter U and am enjoying it now. Actually wanted to wait until X or Bayo 2, but in the end I was having the same worries as you. I'll see if I made the "right" choice or not.

I've got the Defiance Ultimate Edition at the beginning of the week. If you're wondering what for an epic deal it was:

WOW
Looks nice.

btw. Far Cry 3, Tetris 3D (3DS), Rayman Origins (3DS), Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Dark Siders 2 (Wii U), Hitman HD, Dead Island: GOTY, Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Saints Row 3:GOTY, Virtue's Last Reward, Catherine, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, Hello Kitty Seasons (Wii) and others in a 2 for 28pounds sale on zavvi
http://www.zavvi.com/offers/2-for-28.list?pageNumber=1

Aliens: Infestation (NDS) for £5 at TGC.

Shipping should be free in UK, £2 to non-UK Europe, and £4 elsewhere.

Edit: they also have Ni no Kuni (PS3) for £18.95. (using code XBOX-YGJT-DQLE)

Just got a Fire Emblem 3DS XL for £160 from game using the 3DSXLSAVE code. Then picked up Animal Crossing, Mario and Luigi and Luigi's Mansion 2 and a charger for £50 with delivery from Very.co.uk (I know, not a great rep), using the £35 each with 3 for 2 and £30 voucher for new accounts. Should come to a total of around £210 for the lot, which in my eyes is pretty awesome.

Do any gaffers happen to have a spare Monster Hunter recommendation code? http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Cam...omotion/How-To-Claim/How-To-Claim-760510.html

Was torn between the Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem pack.

No way will they honour that, but I've preordered anyway. :)
Will do same brah. Lol
So are games really going to cost £55 this gen? People keep saying those are placeholders but there was an EA thread yesterday basically confirming those shifty prices.

If they are, I expect more bombas more quickly.

Any deals on Xbox 360 consoles? Ordered one with Game yesterday, 60gb £55, 12 month warranty. Today cancelled because they have no stock.

Really hope they go bust ;p Second time they've done that in recent months with fake stock, the website was a complete mess yesterday. showing a lot of things in stock that they clearly didn't have.

Mind you I rang my local blockbuster, they had one pre owned slim in stock....£149.99 D: They usually have a cabinet full of pre owned crap, not a single console now other than a slim. I'm amazed they are still standing, especially in our town, which is like a ghost town these days.
