Stock situation seems to be a problem and one of the reasons they haven't had a public announced trade in.
A friend tried it and the gamestop employee there said, that they only got two consoles to sell and the rest are preorders.

Goddamnit Tesco have screwed up Dishonored 2 preorders and think the release date is 11/11/2016, ignoring the 1 day early for preorders. Every other major online retailer has it listed for 10/11/2016 release, but not Tesco. So my Pro will arrive tomorrow with nothing to play on it

No. Friday is the official release date, there was however a pre-order offer to get the game a day early.

I imagine your Pro will still go out today with Amazon as it'll be a courier and Amazon often send out courier items pretty late in the day/evening. Tesco preorders however go out first thing, I always have an email when I wake up on the day before saying my preorder has been dispatched...but not with Dishonored.
Edit - hey it's actually gone! I take back my complaints, guessing Tesco listened which is pretty awesome.
This game is so gooood! Paid 44 for it and don't regret it at all. Even though Halloween is over I'm sure we have the Christmas event to look forward to.
I have a question here, do these games have to be PS4 games or can they be from other platforms? I was thinking abiut getting the Xbox S with FIFA for 60 + an old Xbox and two games, bit I don't have two Xbox retail games.

I just called the only Gamestop in my city and they told me they have just 4(!) Pro consoles in free sale other than preordered PS4 Pros. That means before they even open there might be a line of a dozen people for only 4 consoles. Lol, I'm not going to take part in something like that. I'm not that desperate. Unfortunately they couldn't even tell me when they will receive additional consoles. Employee:"It was all rather badly communicated." The trade-in action ends on the 27th. :/

Fine print says games must be from a list of approved titles - what was the game?
In the fine print at the bottom it says they reserve the right to deny or change the offer at any point/on a store by store basis. Maybe try another GS location. Also, it looks like there is a list of eligible trade in games (but even w/o the game you should be paying less according to this flyer, so I think they're giving your friend the finger).

The game was Mortal Kombat XL... which is on this list (https://www.gamestop.ie/99er). This has been the usual "eligible" list for years for most Gamespot promotions. Even if the game was not valid they should only be charging 120 based on the graphic. They want even more.
Him and I have agreed not to get angry at the staff... as ranting at people in retail gets nobody anywhere (and it is not their fault), but we want to present the valid information to them one more time and see what the issue is.
I posted the information here just to make sure we were not missing something obvious.

I jumped on the 18 pound Dishonored 2 deal from Amazon UK (PS4 Pro Pre-Order Pro thing) but got an email this morning to day they're awaiting stock. It's ok because I think my internet bandwidth will be pretty squished tonight when I get home with the Pro (patches, etc)

At checkout I'd assume, it should work as a discount code. I don't place orders that often through their store but I'm pretty sure there's a field in there that says "Apply code" or something similar to that.

update update: Amazon sent me this weird email just now. My PS4 Pro order, even though it shipped last night for delivery today, has been cancelled by amazon and if I still want it I should reorder. It's still available on Amazon for £332 with additional processing time (as in its out of stock and who the fuck knows when it'll be back in stock).

In Ireland it's 130 (I thought it'd be more considering it's with GS too). The only way I can see it going down is if it sells like shit and too many were made and honestly I have no idea about how either of those will go. But regardless that will be post release.
