Huh, went on TGCs Twitter and it sounds like they're not sending Mario + Rabbids until Saturday. They only got stock of Madden 18 yesterday too. Wonder if publishers are withholding stock from them.

I got my hopes up briefly earlier today when I checked my order and saw that it had changed from "awaiting stock/release" to "processing", but it's back to "awaiting stock" again now. I guess we'll not be seeing it until Wednesday, sadly - the bank holiday would have been the perfect opportunity to get stuck into it!

Absolute garbage since they provide next day delivery -- which I selected, when I ordered Friday at 7AM.

That's quick. My copy from UbiStore was shipped & it started moving on Wednesday and it won't arrive in Finland until probably next Tuesday with Wednesday delivery. At least they shipped it pretty early probably knowing it will take a full week to arrive.

Yup, couriers including Parcel Force are usually Monday-Friday, Royal Mail is Saturday included and Amazon Logistics are just every fucking day.

Often "next day" and "Saturday" services are offered independently and Saturday incurs extra cost.

It sucks that they didn't provide you with an accurate date and make it clear when you were actually going to receive it though.

The only problem is their prices are always RRP unless there's another discount code that you can use (discount codes stacked last I used their site).

I didn't manage to get the uplay deal for M+R because I was short for cash when the deal first came up, and then they upped the price on the game to RRP, so the 20% discount made it about the same price as just getting it from anywhere else.

Incidentally, TGC finally dispatched my copy of M+R.

For fifa 18 on Xbox, the physical versions are £10 cheaper than digital - but would a free trial of EA access still give you the 10% off? That would make the digital premium more bearable. Also my son was thinking to get the Ronaldo version so combined with early access the should be able to play for 10 hours from the 24th, and then fully from the 26th? (Standard comes out on the 29th)

Any issues creating a spare Xbox Live account for EA access trial, or does it have to be the same account that buys the game?

EA Access discounts are only applied to the account with the active Access membership. You could get a 1-month code, buy any version you're looking for, download the 10-hours trial and be ready to play on the 26th or 29th depending on your version

And it is for the most part. Most of their offers don't really exist, they reset before the clock ticks down or they are "snapped" 1 second after going "live".

But I actually managed to grab a deal from them, so some deals are true (funnily enough as soon as I pressed the basket, the deal resets, which made me believe that even the real deals only have 1 item in stock).

They surely aren't getting my money anymore besides some major deals after this debacle.

Same with a couple of other games I've tried. 5 minutes to go, refreshed the page and it was suddenly a 24hr reset. There have been videos of people waiting until the timer ends, clicking on Add to Basket and then being told the item is out of stock and the timer restarts.

Not to say there aren't some games where it's legit, but it seems the more popular the item the less likely you're going to get anything due to what appears to be shady practice to farm email addresses and web traffic.

Gameseek are not stupid, they will know exactly what the law requires of them. If they say there's stock, there will be stock, even if there's just one item. The promotion might be unfair and mildly misleading, but I'd be fairly confident it's not any kind of actual scam.

I would be interested to hear what Trading Standards say about it though, assuming you guys have made a complaint.
