Chevy/ Chevrolet: Its time for a logo redesign for Man United's sake

Wow that looks so bad. How about adding more gradients, drop shadow on the text, and some lens flare? They've never really had a good logo.

Honestly, it's not that bad.

We'll all get used to it, just like everything else in life.

They sell the Chevy Volt there.

Which you tarts should be buying because your petrol is so damn expensive.
They don't sell the Chevy Volt, they sell the Vauxhall Ampera. Which is the same car of course, but marketing the Chevy brand is completely pointless if most of the cars are sold under different brands.

It's horrible, but I'd like to say well done to whoever got Chevrolet to give us $80 million a year for 7 years with no performance related clauses.

And well done to the Chevrolet exec that got sacked the day after for doing it, haha.

Oh and the Chevrolet brand is leaving Europe in 2015.

This is what you get for wanting America to have more love for soccer: our shit all up in the sport.

Soon there will be tailgaiting, Steven A. Smith yelling matches passing for critique, and socialist club parity. Mwahahahaha!

Why would anyone buy a sports jersey that has a corporate logo on it? Buying sports jerseys is kinda weird anyway, but actually paying for something that says Chevy or Red Bull or Samsung on the front of if is just crazy. Shouldn't you be paid for being a walking billboard?

NASCAR racing advertising - with shirts and cars that are covered in advertisements - is absolutely huge. In general, people who follow NASCAR are basically just the equivalent of F2P whales.

As an Arsenal fan... At least they still have Nike kits (despite the shittastic, photoshop-looking Chevrolet logo) while we get Puma ones...

*hugs Nike Arsenal home kit*

Hey, as an Arsenal fan, like me as a Liverpool fan, at least we have European football to look forward to next season.

Will be my first full season on Footy-GAF as I've been following casually for a few years but have decided to go all in starting with this upcoming season.

And the funny thing? I never had a problem with "Fly Emirates" plastered on my kit because at least the all-white letters (or all-blue for the away kit) isn't all bad compared to the crappy logo. I wish Chevy at least tried to make it not look like a bad PS job.

Edit: Oh wow those Liverpool kits look horrible... (・_・;)

I have a separate message board I go to for my Football discussion. Not that I'm saying FootyGAF is a bad place or anything, but it's muich more organized for me having an entire board system for conversations, as opposed to everything squished into one thread.

I´d rather never play European football ever again than have my team wearing this for a whole season

Posting a backup away kit from last year and saying "wearing this for a whole season?"
Sure.

Actually . . . they do sell both. Yes, it is pointless. Well not completely, they do look a little different.

I wish they sold the Ampera here . . . I think it looks a little better.

(Edit . . . I got that picture from a UK Chevy site.)

That white jersey looks like a white Silverado. I'm so proud of this that it's starting to make me cry red, white, and blue tears all over my Levi's t-shirt.

Eh, eh. Told ya. It looks good.

Now, if you're looking for something that makes no sense whatsoever and pretty much a reflection of not having a clue:

To be fair, that's a third kit.

Take away the logo and leave the text or take away the text and flatten out the logo making it one color instead of silver and gold. (fixed) Would love to know how much designers get paid to put out crap like this...

Don't blame the designers. Sometimes your hands are tied against the will of the client.
