In the last few years my life has changed and I spend less and less time in London, and more time in our home French Polynesia and summer home in Finland.
It has come time to Marie Kondo my life. I have a bunch of gaming and entertainment related items that I have truly enjoyed, but that I do not have use for anymore. I think they can provide joy to other people.
Repeating a previously successful thread idea, for the next 7 days, I will be donating away drops of various gaming / entertainment related boxes.
Thread rules
1 - New daily drop is announced each evening UK time, and OP updated
2 - You can win the daily prize by posting about it
3 - When new drop is announced each day, so is the winner of the previous drop
4 - Items are available for anonymous pickup from our building concierge in London, or you can organise courier to pick them up. One of the drops will be too cumbersome to courier.
5 - I don't want to know real names of GAF members, so please use fake names
How are daily winners chosen?
I will draw a winner from the participants. I will go through all replies indicating interest in the drop. Whether it's for enjoyment or because you will have the time to resell the drop, all is fair game.
Why not sell the stuff myself?
I get to spend just a few weeks in London, and managing the logistics and hassle of selling items is just too much.
Why not just take them to a charity shop?
I think people in GAF will appreciate and understand the items better, and if selling them, will get a better price.
What if there is no takers?
Then it's off to Oxfam or recycling.
When can the pickup happen?
Everything has to be picked up by 2 October 2022 on a day agreed in PM.
Where is the pickup location and how does the pickup work?
Location is a large building on City Road, London, provided over PM. The building has a 24h concierge who will hand out the parcel. If you are organising a courier pickup, you will need to PM me the label to print.
