Give me a fucking break. I like Gordon-Levitt, but GAF hypes him to be some prodigy-actor because the kid is good and hasn't broken out like lesser young actors (see: Laboef).

He is good, no doubt. He was decent in Brick and even Mysterious Skin, but when people start saying he was amazing in bullshit movies like The Lookout you know something is in the koolaid.

He hasn't reached Ledger levels yet.

Gotta disagree, Sculli. JGL is already at or slightly above where Ledger ever reached. Ledger's best performances were Brokeback Mountain and TDK. Pre 2004 or so, he had starred in mostly crap. JGL already has fine work under his belt in Mysterious Skin, Brick, 500 Days, etc. He too previously starred in a bunch of crap.

Its an interesting comparison though, given that the would be about the same age, have similar looks, etc., not to mention that they starred in the awful 10 Things I Hate About You together.

Hey guys, I was just joking about JGL, both Ledger and him are great actors, not trying to bash him or anything like that, didn't know that there is a war between their careers :lol

Just making fun of the physical similarities and Nolan "testing the waters" to put him in the next Batman film
lulz
.

I will see (500) days if they show it in Spain, maybe never :(

Haven't seen 500 Days yet, but Ledger was also great in Candy.

Also, you don't 'gotta' disagree. You're more than welcome to nod and move along. :lol

JGL played a fucking blinding role as the lead in Brick which was written and directed by Rian Johnson. Not that shameful excuse for a film, GI Joe. A film designed for nothing more than to sell toys to 10 year olds.

Fixed.

After 7 a.m. makeup and wardrobe call, the star was on the Bir-Hakeim by 8:15 and worked until 12:15, as did Page. Cotillard was into makeup and wardrobe at 7:30 and at the bridge by noon.

Monday’s scene on the closed set utilized two giant mirrors, each the size of a storefront and slowly rotating and reflecting each other. The leading man – dressed in a grey-green Armani jacket, black trousers and looking very tanned and blond – stood between them, creating a funhouse-mirror effect of a thousand reflections before the mirrors pulled away to reveal him walking the bridge with Ellen Page amid a sea of extras.

An argument develops between them and Page turns violent, shoving him, knocking him down. What followed were shots of the extras, standing as still as statues, as though they were frozen in time.

Shooting will continue in Paris through Thursday.
Fuck, this trailer is gonna blow my dick off on thursday. No matter what it is, it's more than what we already nkwo.

It's a Nolan teaser a year early, it will likely show almost no footage at all. Don't get too excited.

I know, but still, this isn't an existing IP, and shit, we literally know one sentence about this film. If they show anything more than that, it's more than we already knew. Plus, since it's not a pre-existing IP, it's gotta have something cool to grab people's attention in it.

omg i see nolan and pfister!

*faints*

Nolan still hasn't stopped making films where all of his characters have too many layers clothing on though.:lol The man sure does love his coats.

Also, Wally looks like a stocky Hugh Laurie.

Someone who claims to have seen the trailer:

- Now, I wont give much away because it was a pretty good teaser trailer. It got you wanting more. Their is actual footage of the movie, with Leo and others. Their is One fight scene in what looks to be in a hotel hallway, but not just any fight scene. They were fighting all over the hallway, on side walls, ceilings everywhere. I thought Matrix (Don't panic it's not the matrix but thats what I came up with) Its gonna be a trippy movie. The end music kind of reminded me of Terminator, not the theme music but u will know what I'm talking about. Its only like a minute long and you will want to watch again to see what you just saw.

- Yes, Gordon-Levitt is one of the guys that's fighting in the Hallway, on the ceiling and walls. You see a quick shot of his face.

- Marion was not in the teaser.

- Ellen Page is not in the teaser, Thier is a shot of a guy being dragged away, it could be [Tom Hardy], not familiar with who he is, sorry.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Leonardo Dicaprio in a big Matrix style fight scene? Huh. Well it's obvious it's going to have some epic fight scenes, I mean you can't have a huge $200 million budget summer blockbuster tent pole film without a lot of action in it. It's THE movie WB is basing their whole summer around next year.

I wonder if that is made up though, my gut says the impressions are fake.

Sounds like balls considering Nolans track record for fight scenes. Also, looks like Nolans lost a little weight

The Inception trailer on the other hand, clocked in at 58 seconds and tells us more or less nothing about the plot- other than "Your mind is the scene of the crime". It shows DiCaprio's face a few times, but you don't see him fighting or really doing anything, so I have no idea what his character is. The most memorable shot is a fight scene in a hotel hallway. The characters appear to be falling down the hall fighting. They fight on the walls, the ceiling- really trippy stuff. Honsetly, aside from "From Christopher Nolan", "Leonardo DiCaprio", some trippy shots, and "Summer 2010", the trailer doesn't offer much- except to make you think "What the hell was that?" and "I have to see it!"

It starts with the Warner Bros Logo in grey

Then you see Chris Nolan name

This dradle like thing is spinning around.

then Director- The Dark Knight words

You see leo's face

over shot of a city, shaking camera shot.

Words come on screen YOUR MIND

Shot of Leo

More words IS THE SCENE OF THE CRIME

Then you see a glass of water, with the water in the glass startes to tilt

people fighting in hallway

The word INCEPTION comes up

then SUMMER 2010

I couldn't read more than one line from the trailer description. My heart is pounding like crazy, fuck. This film will kill me.

Where Ledger ever reached? EVER reached? You're saying an Oscar winner is at or below a guy that most still only remember as "that kid from 3rd Rock From the Sun?"

I could understand the argument that Levitt has had better performances on average than Ledger, but to say he's above anyplace Ledger ever reached is absurd imo.

So do we have any idea what the plot is about, other than what the teaser trailer tells us?
Here's what we know about the plot.

It's "set within the architecture of the mind."

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand.

"Your mind is the scene of the crime."

That's it.

So..? Who is she? (Ellen Page...heard her name before but I haven't seen any ofher movies, I think.)
Her two most well known roles are in Juno and Hard Candy. Some people dislike her for her performance in Juno. I rather like her, but then again I loved Juno.

She plays Kitty in X-3.

Did you watch it?
She's also in Hard Candy ( recommend this film, so you can be scared too).
Also, Juno.

I think she's a terrific actress.

I'm getting a sense that this might be like a live-action Satoshi Kon film with more action, and that's awesome.

I hated Juno but found Hard Candy to be entertaining, mostly because I found Juno opening a can of whoop ass to be quite hilarious.

Ah, out of those I only know Juno..from the hate it gets on gaf but I prefer watching films myself and judging after that ;) I don't think she's dislikable that's why I asked. :) Hard Candy looks interesting.

Why did I ever doubt Nolan?

Seriously.

That sounds fucking.......,monumental.

Where exactly are these trailer reports?
