'Housekeeping', 'Déjà Vu' and 'MFN' are early standouts from a quick listen to the album.

Really, really solid stuff. Hope they make it to Toronto

Never heard of them before but I'm really digging Hotel Valentine.

Miho Hatori has 2 dances. The Dougie, and the Snoopie. Both are adorable.

Cibo Matto live is AMAZING!

Is that you in the pic? I actually think I saw you in the front, hah.

Yup, I spend the entire show camping out in the front row as per the usual. It was a great show, but you could tell it was mostly an older crowd by people just not being all that loud.

Opening band was quite good too. Salt Cathedral had a couple impressive songs.

Got the album autographed at the show, and now it is hanging on my wall.

Nice, I have the cream-colored vinyl pre-ordered and I can't wait for that Valentine's Day card. I fuckin wanted a picture with my boyfriend and Cibo Matto, left early and I feel bad about it lol. I'm sure I'll get a chance again.

Not gonna lie, I only like half of the songs on the new album. However, the songs that I like I really like and I don't think the other songs are necessarily bad either.

After a bunch of listens it's finally kind of settled in for me.

The album's obviously really good. The biggest surprise to me, though, is how little it sounds like Cibo Matto as a whole. Outside of like Deja Vu, MFN, 10th Floor Ghost Girl and Maid Song the rest sound way more like Miho's solo stuff. Things like Empty Pool, Hotel Valentine, Lobby etc etc all sound like they'd fit more in on something like Ecdysis. Not a bad thing, mind you, but just a bit jarring.

The album's really strong and it's interesting to see them returning to some of their lyrical themes from even pre-viva la woman (frequent references to weed for example reminds me of their super early stuff). It's really fun though and yeah absolutely awesome.

Saw them tonight. I wish the Santa Ana show was tomorrow to go see them again. Great stage presence and setlist.

They're such badasses when they come back for the encore, haha.
