I have no idea who this is, but this looks closer to Marcus Phoenix!

Looks wise anyway.

And yeah, give that guy 2 weeks of acting school and 2 weeks of speaking American English and he's good to go.

What about John Di Maggio - the guy that doies his voice? It's kind of like asking who I would want to play Snake. I can't imagine anyone else but David Hayter.

I just realised, instead of giving an actor 6 months of bodybuilding lessons, why not just give a wrestler 6 months of acting lessons?

Acting lessons with Patrick Stewart :p

"Dom! Make it so."

"Look at all dat Earl Gray."

A hugely buff soldier is just about the dumbest thing ever. What the hell are these guys even doing in the field, crying about losing their mass because they don't have access to their supplements?

Even The Rock went to Hollywood, so why not Batista ?

Did you actually see Doom?

There's nothing in Gears of War's plot that makes me think it will be any better; it's going to be a joke anyways.

Clive Owen would be fucking ace if he were to play Marcus. While they're at it, sign up Brad Pitt for Baird, Terry Crews for Cole, R. Lee Ermey for Hoffman, and hell even The Rock could play Dom. Now that would be a movie...

...and that will never happen.

Slightly off topic but this must be said:

The FIRST person I thought of when I saw Baird back when I first played GoW was Neil McDonough.

I was reading this thread about an hour ago and decided to search the net for "little head big body".

I'm back now and relaxed as hell.

This is really a bad photoshop job, right?

Kid in a Halloween mask?

p.s. I agree with Cliffy...Owen would be great (I'm a big Children of Men fan as well). I know Mickey Rourke's getting long in the tooth, but he'd make a good Fenix (really thought he'd take off again after his role in Sin City). Ray Liotta?

Whoever they cast, somehow wedge the ugliest man in Hollywood in there for SOME role, either as the good guys or the bad guys.

Thing with Ron Perlman is that you don't need much make-up regardless of role.

A "real" actor?

Quit talking Clifford, the more you do the more you resemble a hollow product spokesperson and less like a respectable game developer.

because the games hes worked on in the last 10 years account for nothing, right?

He would make a great Locust. :lol

Batista = Marcus

bobby lashley = cole train
super crazy = dom

DEAL WITH IT CLIFFY B.

I'm still waiting for the Gears of War that I thought I would be playing after watching the Mad World commercial. Still waiting Cliffy.

Exactly. And they did the same thing with Gears 2. If you're going to imply some kind of sophistication or maturity in your commercial, then deliver at least a little smack of it in the game!

P.S. Edward James Olmos as a Locust, no makeup needed.
