They just need a US/Canada address for verification. That's common actually. All you have to do is put a US/Canada address and you'll get the code.
Done! Thanks guys!
Waiting for Ace Attorney 5...

So, here's a potentially sticky question. I actually don't have a 3DS as of yet. If the October Pokemon bundle rumors end up being true, I may wait until then to get one. I got SMTIV because of the first print run LE. A friend of mine let me play FE:A, and it seemed fun. I also happen to have a gift card from GS that has a little over $10 left on it. I'm thinking of going ahead and getting FE:A for this credit, since with the $30 it would essentially pay for itself anyway.
But since I have neither a 3DS or a Wii U, what happens with the credit from Club Nintendo? Does it simply sit there until I get a 3DS or Wii U and sync it up with my Club Nintendo account? Is there a time limit that the credit will sit there for before expiring? Anyone happen to know?
I seriously doubt it would expire, though I can't say for sure. You don't need a 3DS to get the code, you can just wait until you have one to redeem it.

The answer to that question is in the OP, I think.
There are three deadlines by which you must abide. The first one is August 31st. You must register both SMT4 and FEA by Aug 31. The second deadline is September 30th. You must claim your $30 code by Sept. 30 from Club Nintendo. The final deadline is December 31st. You must redeem your $30 credit by December 31, on either a Wii U or 3DS.
Once your $30 is redeemed, it will never expire.

Ah, I see. I was thinking that this was all done via registering, didn't realize there was a code step in-between. My bad for not checking the OP. Seems I'll have until December 31st then, that's fine, I'll definitely have a 3DS, and probably a Wii U, by that point. Thanks Zeer. Looks like I'll go ahead and pick up FE:A
Wish I could get a refund... :/ seems I wasted my money on RE: Mercs 3D... figured it was like all the other mercs but it seems more...shallow so to speak.
I really am liking mighty switch force though.
Give it time. The final bracket of stages is awesome.
I have a question. I'm from Mexico and I'm planning to make a CN account using my uncle's address, BUT, I had already bought FE digitally on the Mexican eshop. Is this still going to work or could there be problems?
So I've decided to spend my credits on either Donkey Kong or Mario 3d, probably leaning towards Mario. But I wanted to ask what you guys thought is the better game
I was going to wait on Hometown Story but the physical release is getting a plushie for preorder... so I might just get Animal Crossing on the eshop and preorder Hometown Story.
Anyone from Asia ( Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines ) managed to take advantage of this? Does the codes from our locally distributed games worked?

Has Ninty said anything about Pokemon XY having digital releases? I'll probably spend my 30 on that if they do
There's no way Poekmon won't come out digitally.
I know Florida doesn't.Guys, which US store doesn't have to pay taxes?I want to spend some of that credit already but I registered in Pennsylvania an that place seems to.have taxes right?
After much much hassle, I finally got my copy of SMT IV. Now I claimed by code but haven't redeemed it yet. So here's my question: is this credit restricted to the store in which I redeem it? I would like to spend it on the US eShop if possible, but I have a Canadian Club Nintendo account.
Ok, I'll change to that one then. Thank you so much!I know Florida doesn't.
yeah it is restricted. I think if you change your profile address to some generic US address before claiming your code, they will send you a US code.
Oh well. If anyone here wants to trade his/her US code for a Canadian one please PM me. When do these codes expire btw?
Reminder for procrastinators like me: today is the last day for this promotion.
