their words, not mine.

At least with reviewers. HTC's latest smartphone is getting incredibly positive reactions.

Meet the HTC One

Technology reviewers are running out of superlatives to describe just how good it is. But they're not talking about the latest from Apple. They're talking about an Android: the HTC One. HTC's new flagship phone is due April 19 for $199 with a contract. By many, many, many, many accounts it is one the best phones ever made -- and possibly the model that is finally better than an iPhone.

it seems like the HTC One is really resonating with tech reviewers and the mainstream media. hopefully consumers will follow that trend.

So what makes this better then iPhone? Some bullet points would be nice for the lazy
me
.

I know the Play Store isn't as good as iTunes, but the customisation you can do on Android phones make them totally better than iPhones.

And that's that.

Even if others are ahead on hardware and OS design, as competitors may have been for some time, what's the solution to combat iTunes/App Store?

I thought Google already caught up with them on apps. ITunes is... iTunes.

it takes a person with some really niche interests for the iTunes store to be any better than Google's

it's not a long article, i didn't really want to post too much of it.

I read it and basically got the gist of this:

Better design (imo, i have an iphone 5)
Better screen (1080p)
Better camera
Better speakers

Which I'm assuming the new iPhone will at least come close to meeting those improvements. I just don't see any "wow" feature that is going to drag people away from the Apple brand or the superior App Store.

Still can't get over the lack on the sd card + no 64 gb option on T-Mobile. Tired of HTC phones as well.

I'm embarrassed to ask this but since I've been stuck with an iPhone for the past few years im wondering how you manage files with an Android phone?
Can you just dump media onto like like a regular external device?

Yep, just plug in and drag and drop. Uses folders and standard familiar file structures. Movies, music, photos, whatever.

Some people in here haven't used an android phone since cupcake.

If the last Android phone they used ran cupcake, I can't say that I blame them.
