Man, Autzen was loud tonight. Pretty tense game until the Bruins decided to give up at the end of the third quarter.

Buckeyes laying down an ass beating cotdamn

Alabama would beat Oregon by 2TDs. Alabama's offensive and defense lines would maul Oregon on both sides of the ball.

No.

FSU Miami next week. The last* time both teams entered the game undefeated was 2003. That was also the last* time either team entered the game without a loss. They ended up playing twice that year (bowl game), and Miami won both meetings. They would meet twice this year if both teams win out, regardless of this game's outcome, and meet in the ACC championship.

*Not counting those years that the ACC had them opening their seasons against each other, typically on Labor Day.

Oh my god, they burned Swoopes shirt to play garbage time. WHAT. THE. FUCK.

He's definitely not the next coming of VY or anything, but Mack himself mentioned Swoopes would one day be a 1st team All American. And given that statement, he burns his first year of play in garbage time at the end of the 7th game in the season when backupJalen Overstreet is just as capable? lol

It must mean Ash is going to be out for a long time and they want a backup with some experience taking snaps. I just wish he made a throw. He seemed a little scared to.

Great play by the Stanford secondary there. Great throw too.

If Oregon gets up by two scores at any point against Stanford the game is over. They don't have enough horses this year (specifically tall TEs). Maybe a zillion Duck turnovers but I don't see that happening. Oregon will be sharp as fuck on the farm.

Here's the last play of the Abilene Christian v. NMSU game. ACU scored a TD with 19 seconds left to pull within 5 points, after that they recover an onside kick, and suddenly have a chance to win the game on one last play.

edit: the flag on the play at the end was against the frustrated ACU player that kicked they pylon. lol

Undefeateds update

There hasn't been a non-SEC team since Oklahoma in 2008 to get a bid for the national championship game with a blemished record. So if your team is not in the SEC and you have a loss, you're probably out of luck. Anyways 2 undefeateds went down this week so here are the current 8undefeated teams by conference.

ACC:
Miami 7-0
Florida St. 7-0

Big 12:
Texas Tech 7-1
Baylor 7-0

B1G:
Ohio St. 8-0

MAC:
Northern Illinois: 8-0

MWC:
Fresno St. 7-0

Pac 12:
Oregon 8-0

SEC:
Mizzou 7-1
Alabama 8-0

No undefeated teams in:
CUSA
Independents
Sunbelt
AAC

And just for shits and giggles, here is the winless list:

U-Conn 0-7
Southern Miss 0-7
New Mexico St. 1-7 they defeat FCS transitional school Abilene Christian
Miami (OH) 0-8
Western Michigan 1-8
Hawaii 0-6 (game still in progress, but CSU leads by 18 in the 3rd )
Georgia St. 0-8

Yeah, that was pretty nuts. Crowd went insane and really set the tone for the rest of the game.

The down the ground view was pretty good showing that fake punt.

Would have been in the running for TD of the year if he got it.

And fkn DUKE! Killed my bet for this week!

I am not sure an SEC team can have 1 loss and get in at this point either. Bama's loss will come to late in the year unless it is against LSU but no one is going to beat them so it really doesnt' matter. Only chance would be Auburn if it beat an undefeated Bama and then a 1 loss Mizzou but Auburn is the product of its schedule and is probably gonna lose 2 or its last three games. And if that happens the SEC is probably going to only get 1 BCS bid.

I'm surprised to see OSU finally winning a game decidedly instead of just escaping. I wish they would play FSU or Bama and play a real powerhouse that way we can see if they're real.

But the way things are going the dream match up would be FSU-Bama but both have some tough tests ahead. If they make it out unscathed then we have 2 teams who really deserve to be in the title game.

Baylor has no chance of finishing undefeated. That they still are is a result of their backloaded schedule. FSU and Miami play each other next, so one will be gone. I could see FSU winning out if they beat Miami, Miami might have it tougher. OSU is good until their final game, but I think they should take down Michigan barring some bad luck or injuries. Oregon only really has to beat Stanford, which last season aside, I think will be less of a contest than the media are hoping. Bama is in a good position: one potentially challenging game, one cupcake, one that's a bye, and one that... well, we'll see if Auburn is for real I guess, but come on. They struggled with Wazzu.

Summary: well, random chance always interferes with this shit somehow. I think we wind up with maybe three undefeateds. Alabama obviously, and then... let's call it Ohio St and Oregon. And what better way for the BCS to end than in an awful mismatch blowout, so I'll assume it'll be Oregon in the title game. Fun times.

All the teams Baylor play next still blow. They're best chance of losing is against okie lite on the road, but they need to get the qb situation figured out first.
