Voter turnout was only about 47% so a lot of people didn't vote. That's always the case though this year was around the same amount as 2000.

Somehow, the Democratic fell down to the Republican level, which just stayed the same.

Where did those 8-10 million people go??? They weren't all old people who died, right? Since it's assumed the elderly are majority republican.

I won't speak for anyone else, but Hillary was the first Democrat that I've ever voted for as president. Not because I like her, but because I felt she was the only sane candidate running. If you had asked me yesterday, I'd have said that there were a bunch of people who felt that same way. Maybe there was and they just didn't vote. I don't know.

The thing that bothered me about this election was that I felt all of Trumps opponents, regardless of party, didn't address any of those things.

Obama had charisma, Clinton didn't. Obama could motivate black voters, Clinton couldn't motivate women voters who were more concerned about economic issues than gender politic issues.

As for shaming other people, I totally agree that is counterproductive, as it alienates people that might have similar viewpoints.

TBH, I think CFB gaf is pretty bad at this too is instead of outright trying to help a new poster to adjust CFB gaf, its comes off as bullying and cliquish at times to me. We were kinda dicks to the new tOSU poster.

For the record, if you check my post history, not much to sift through, you will find that I have referred to them as Michigan in posts before. I was just having a little fun with it because I found it ironic that we need them to win out.

As the few conservatives around here, I keep trying to remind everyone that Trump is going to destroy the party. He is going to do a lot in the first 100 days, but I think after that the party slowly goes to war with itself after all the stuff they agree with Trump on has been addressed. Also, we're over due for a recession and when it hits it will hit hard. Trump and his followers definitely aren't going to take the blame and will take it out on the party.

Depends on how the Trojans do with turnovers. They've played better but they've been really really undisciplined still with penalties and Darnold has fumble issues when running. There's also the question of how healthy Justin Davis and Juju Smith Schuster are.

They were close to winning on the road in Utah, but defensive depth and turnovers cost them.

Right now UW is just a much more disciplined and better coached team so I don't really think USC can surprise them or catch them off guard, and they can't play sloppy.
