Marqise Lee just won the Biletnikoff. Well deserved. Best player in the country.

Re-posting from the NBA thread:
Wow... GT football players in the TNT studio, and Chuck says, "I wish Auburn could have played Georgia Tech this year..."
Ouch.
Auburn would have lost
Lonestar alongside SB Nation trolling hard. That Wanny image oh my god hahahaha.
Also, interesting write up on the entire Bielema saga:

Too lengthy to quote. Worth reading.
Surprisingly the first Biletnikoff winner in school history.
Barner got fucking ROBBED.
Common opponent: Oregon State
Barner: 28/198 yards, 2 TDs, abdominal strain came in the middle of the yards.
Franklin: 12/45 yards, 0 TDs, 13 receiving yards.
Ball: 15/61 yards, 0 TDs, 18 receiving yards
That game was at the beginning of the season when Ball had suffered a concussion and missed most of practice and just before the offensive line coach was fired. I think that when you look at the overall stats you also need to consider that Wisconsin's passing game is 115th in the nation, so teams just loaded the box all day against Ball.

This is how dumb I am, not only did I completely forget Bielema was an assistant coach at Iowa, I forgot he played there while I was there. Alcohol's a hell of a bitch. Also, interesting write up on the entire Bielema saga:

Barrett Jones won the Rimington.
Luke Joekel (Aggie) won the Outland.
Jonathan Banks (MSU) won the Thorpe.
Search committee? Barry Alvarez don't need no stinking search committee.
"I won't use a search committee," Alvarez said Thursday. "Most search committees use me."
Boom! And we're off and running.
On the next coach: "Bret used my game plan to win. The coach I hire will have to understand who we are and how we go about our business."
Alvarez said he won't pursue former Badgers offensive coordinator Paul Chryst, but he told "The Dan Patrick Show" following the news conference that he might reach out to Boise State's Chris Petersen. He'll have to manage the search while also overseeing the football program.

Yeah, Notre Dame fans are disgusting. (Looked at the comments on the Seeburg article)
Go Alabama.
Even the tree killers aren't as bad as they are.
There is quite a bit of misinformation regarding that story. But the fact is someone committed suicide after being inappropriately touched. It'spretty horrible but there was found to be nothing prosecutable about it. Sexual assault of all kinds is a huge problem on college campuses and more should be done to prevent it. /2centsYeah, Notre Dame fans are disgusting. (Looked at the comments on the Seeburg article)

Pleasure, actually. Had some vacation time saved up and I've always wanted to visit the UK. I'm working my way north and then visiting the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Should be fun.You going for business?

Reading his account of it, and you and ez's disdain for the guy, I can see why he would want to leave. If the fans still think of Alvarez as "coach" and he was losing assistants to better paying jobs, it doesn't sound like WIS is that great of a job. Top offensive coordinators are making close to a million dollars now
That said I think he has little to no chance at Arkansas, but you never know
It's fucking bullshit that Hopkins didn't win the Groza award. Tulane's kicker plays half of his games in a goddamn dome, making his job far easier than any other kicker's. Not to mention Hopkins is the all time NCAA kicker point leader (and #3 among ALL NCAA football players), and he's tied for most successful field goal kicks as well (assuming he kicks one in the bowl game, he'll be the outright leader). He'll probably be the first kicker drafted this year too. What a damn crock of shit.
I'm jealous. I love London - need to get back.Pleasure, actually. Had some vacation time saved up and I've always wanted to visit the UK. I'm working my way north and then visiting the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Should be fun.
I'm sitting at a Starbucks in Westminster typing this. Yes, an American, in London, at a Starbucks. I'm the worst. (I just needed wi-fi and it was close.)
We got a guy that turned down 3 jobs to get ours. Makes me question his intelligence. So I hear Tenn was reduced to getting Colorado and BEAST sloppy seconds and thirds for their new coach?
It's also bullshit Sturgis didn't win it. He bailed us out so many times.
LOL. Arkansas best job opening confirmed.

It's funny that even job hirings can induce trolling between fanbases.
I really don't know how beating south Alabama, western Kentucky, Austin Peay, and Kentucky is considered lucky.Tennessee will be lucky to get four wins next season.
I won't be laughing when Arkansas only wins 5 games next year. Road games at Gata, Bama, and LSU to break the new guy in.
Just go in knowing that next year is an exhibition year. Just work to improve, and as long as they at least appear competent, the future won't look as bad. See: Alabama 2007.
Also: Who knows if Florida, Bama, or LSU will be good next year. High Probability they'll be good, but shit can go sideways in a blip. See: Arkansas & Auburn 2012.
I can get behind tearing down Neyland Stadium. They think they can try to hide it's Erector Set foundation, but I know it's still there.
