Banhammer during week 2. Apparently for making a dick sucking joke on the ever dangerous gaming side. No idea if it is perma or not, but somebody said they had a similar incident and got a two week ban. Obviously his was longer or he would be back by now.

pick'em reservation. uk is this weeks sacrificial lamb at lsu. but hey - we're making them play in the daylight, something lsu doesnt like to do at home!

Good article about visiting WVU.

All I got out of this was "SEASON TICKET HOLDER" ;)

Oh this is good. Is this what you said after the game, Cyan?

Demon, I ain't scared. I've been to Alabama. I've been maimed in a gator hunting accident. I got into a fight with Juvenile in 2002 at a New Orleans dry cleaner, and I made him back his ass up, if you hear what I'm sayin', demon. Les Miles is my coach. You think you can show me the mouth of madness? I've worn madness' hat, and the fit was perfect. I've seen a team coached by Mike Archer. I've seen Nick Saban reduce a parking attendant to tears. Whatever you got to show me is Dora the Explorer compared to what I've seen. Come at this, broseph.

I think I found the issue with Morgan Newton's throwing motion

I think last year's game was the "let's get Hill fired" game.

For some reason, I could not imagine a more perfect representation of an aggie. I am not sure why, because there is nothing inherently wrong with the guy other than being a fan of Texas A&M. But seeing him just screams "A&M".

If I got to do this, I would totally be Mr. Season Ticket Holder:

"Once a year all 18,000 of us get to roam freely killing non-season ticket holders like the Spartans slaughtering Helots. Sorry! SEASON TICKET HOLDER."

Everybody has the same open-mouth, upper-chops glinting thing going on. And the thumbs up...

Close, but it doesn't say anything about how much "tu sucks"

This makes Aggie fandom sound like Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Seriously, I don't understand that picture. Why is everyone turning their heads now? Was he not wearing that tshirt until after they lost the lead? Was he just going around the stadium, posing at random intervals, hoping the ESPN camera would catch him and the surrounding throngs of other ags giving him their admiration? WHY ARE THEY SMILING!? You just blew a 17 point lead!

Another week I will be light on posting. This season has been nuts. Between planning a wedding, insane quantities of work, and 4 home games in 5 weeks I am absolutely exhausted. I really am not happy about the 8pm start. I will have to bring a few energy drinks with me for that late night drive home. Christ, I wait all year for the season to start and now all I want is a damn bye week.

Florida/LSU will be the 3:30 CBS game the week after if that helps.

Awful performance by the FSU defense at Clemson on Saturday. The running game sort of got going, and Trickett played really well (minus the one INT). He actually had the best rookie start at FSU since Danny Kannell in 1993. He had pocket presence and dropped the ball deep. I have no problem with him. With that offence, we should have won the game.

But the defense, they were just horrid. They were basically useless until the 2nd half. I mean, they held Oklahoma to 23 points, including numerous goal-line stands. But they let Clemson get away with 35? That's pathetic. Two weeks in a row, I feel like the Seminoles beat themselves by allowing massive penalties at the most crucial moments in the game. Get rid of those moronic mistakes, and Clemson wouldn't have scored on two of those drives.

The injured players certainly didn't help, but the game was winnable without them (even EJ). Noles D need to get it straight, and stop fucking up. They're too keyed up, and are making stupid mistakes as a result.

Thank god we have a bye this week. I'm sure Jimbo will use the opportunity to straighten everybody the hell out.

P.S. Please choke Clemson. Please.

eh, 2-2 is about what I expected, honestly. I just didn't think the Defense would be this bad.

EDIT: posting at work is fucking me up. :jnc

Glad we won against Ole Miss. Hopefully we can do the same against Miss State as well. I'm hoping so seeing their last game against La Tech.

I'll be posting the updated rankings and new pick'em games tonight, PST. So don't freak out or nothin'.

If we can't beat Miss State and the bizarro Bulldogs then there is seriously something wrong with our team. I think the lines opened at us favored by 7. That's probably generous to Miss St.

I came out of my BYU to the BIG12 bunker long enough to see that picture of the aTm kid with the SEC shirt, things must be moving along nicely.

see you in 5 days.

Eh, lots of teams have demonstrated how to beat them. Provided your defense is well coached up and they stick to their assignments, it can be held in check. I think the hardest thing is to make the players stick to their assignment. If you can keep their gimmick in check, they can't do anything (i.e. complete a forward pass).

Keep on hoping that!

After four games a year ago, Tech was 15-for-45 for 320 yards and three touchdowns against one interception. The lone interception might be the only similarity. After four games this season, the Jackets are 31-for-47 for 927 yards and eight touchdowns with one interception. They have the highest passing efficiency rating in the country.

I still cringe every time they throw a pass though.

I would've posted it yesterday but Cyan wouldn't just accept his destiny and make the damn thread!! Now I'm at work so I'll post it tonight.

Seriously though, we should come up with a solution since I guess bluemax is gone for longer than we'd thought.

/pours one out for bluemax

It's in our blood. We're not used to a GT offense that successfully passes, and it might take the whole season to change our perceptions.

Just cause I like you, I won't boo as your players run on the field.

I still probably will

Arn't you guys doing pretty well this year though offensively? Remember, Norfolk State held us to 10 points in the first half. I dont consider any game a gimme after the events of December 1, 2007.

I assume you've watched a North Avenue Trade School game? You're aware that most of their passes are actually laterals to a running back, or a 2 yard dump and that most of their passing yardage is yards after catch? I still stand by the fact that a decent defense can beat them if they stick to their assignments. But, you guys don't have many of those defenses in the ACC.

Yeah, we're doing pretty good. Only lost to Wyoming because of stupid mistakes and throttled Idaho in the season opener.

... really?

Via Wikipedia:

Georgia Tech is sometimes called the "North Avenue Trade School," although this was never its official title.[30] The name stems from the fact that the campus is bordered to the south by North Avenue, and that the school in its earlier years was operated much like a trade school,[1] with students working part of the day in a machine shop, and the other part of the day in classrooms.[1] Today the name is still used in a humorous manner: the campus bookstore even sells shirts bearing the name "North Avenue Trade School."[99]

awwwwww

Who knows with Wisconsin, though. We haven't played a real game yet this year. Offense looks good, but I'm uncertain of the defense, both with the injuries in the secondary and that we haven't faced a running QB yet this season.
