That's more like a coaching shrubbery.
THAT IS A LARGER COACHING TREE THAN THE COACH OF THE TEAM THAT YOU ROOT FOR!
IN YOUR FACE!

I could see Tech pulling the upset if they can get the lead.Weekly Texas Tech defense ranking post: Through 7 games, we're #8 in the country in yards allowed. Still feels like I'm dreaming.
I know last week we were the only team in the country with both a top 10 defense and offense but I haven't checked that this week yet.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State's offense was dealt a major blow and the curse that appears to haunt Seminoles running backs garnered another victim Monday when coach Jimbo Fisher announced senior Chris Thompson would miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee.
Thompson was Florida State's leading rusher this season and was on pace to become the first 1,000-yard back since 1996 for the Seminoles (No. 12 BCS, No. 11 AP). Thompson had totaled 687 yards rushing through seven games, and his 7.55 yards-per-carry average was third among ACC running backs.
He came down awkwardly on the left knee and needed to be helped off the field. He was responsible for 94 of Florida State's 112 yards at the time.
The injury is particularly disheartening for Thompson, who broke his back in a loss to Wake Forest last year and missed the final eight games of the season. He worked through more than nine months of rehab and emerged this season as the team's top rusher.
http://espn.go.com/college-football...e-seminoles-lose-chris-thompson-2012-acl-tearThompson entered last week's game against Miami needing to average just 60 yards per game to crack the 1,000-yard barrier, a feat that has eluded Florida State running backs for 16 years -- the longest stretch in the nation.
Numerous backs have come close to the 1,000-yard plateau over the years, but through injuries, poor performance or bad luck, all have fallen short. The last serious push for 1,000 at Florida State came in 2004 when Leon Washington finished with 951.
But you told me I was stupid for saying giving Richt a raise and extension was a terrible idea.

Can't play from behind against KSU this year, though. They're so damn disciplined and powerful in the run game.
I am loving all the hate, it fuels me. I can't wait to go down to Norman and smash Oklahoma. We are Notre Dame thats what were about thats what we do. I can't wait to see "Big Game Bob" get his shit pushed in. If he had any fight left he would be on the other sideline.

<3A long time poster who has been prolific in these threads and is now finally sick of us tossing hate his way.

Chris Thompson done for the season/his college career with a torn ACL.

Horrible news for a kid who worked so hard to get back. He is supremely talented and I really hope he gets a shot at the NFL.
Urbz said at his presser today that Braxton pretty much had whiplash and was more shook up from the injury as he never has had one in his playing career. So i guess it scared Brax more than anything.
Damn, that sucks! The hit did not look that bad when I was watching the game. I don't even care that he didn't get to 1,000 yards. He was a special player. Sucks for his college career to end like this. After this, it seems highly unlikely that he'll ever play in the NFL.

Hah, I didn't recognize the name either but looking at his posting history.. he's been a sporadic participant over the years. Very rarely posts in general but he was a huge Clausen fan it looks like.

I'm a believer in KSU too, but I still think they're beatable. All it takes is an early stop or two and all of a sudden they're playing from behind.I don't remember the point when it happened but sometime a few weeks ago I became a full on believer in KSU. I thought their record last year was inflated by some luck and bad play by their opponents but they've just kept that train a-rollin'.
It's a highly ranked matchup this weekend but I think Tech is still playing with house money because while there are people out there that think that Tech CAN win there aren't many that think they WILL win. So long as we don't get blown out I think the effect of losing on our ranking won't be too big.
The loss of TE Jace Amaro against WVU was VERY evident in the TCU game (not to mention our two best speedy field stretching WR in Bell and Marquez, also both hurt last week and out for the season). I'd feel a lot better if we had one of those three guys back because each of the three would add a new dimension that the offense doesn't have. Amaro may be back later this year but I'm not expecting him before the bowl game.

Weird, he said at one point he didn't know where he was. Pretty common concussion symptom there.
KSU is such a weird program to me.
I hope they can establish something solid for a long while this time.
Always seemed like they were having that one great season, and then they would disappear.
Is the guy behind her a Ghostbuster?
Florida's good but they're due for an offensive implosion to get them down early. They're not built to come back although Georgia will try to give back the game a few times.

"We are Notre Dame"? You've been reduced to ripping of slogans from Penn State and Marshall? Why don't you just talk about how you're "All In" as the "Notre Dame Family" while you're at it?

No bro you got it severely twisted. It's not a slogan its a decleration of fact. We're Notre Dame and this is what we do. Wreck dreams and shatter pretenders
