Kill comedy. PC crowd won't allow for it any more.
Didn't take long for the "I'm (race/ethnic group being antagonized) and I'm not offended so that makes everything OK."
God damn, that's what it feels like nowadays.

What the FUCK!? LMAO!! Reverse sensitive nipples up in here..
Interesting, I've had quite a bit of success in comedy by not telling shitty, insensitive jokes. Comedians that can't handle "PC fascists" putting their shticks on blast should probably re-evaluate how funny they actually are, and the kinds of audiences they want as their fans.
Can you post an example of your jokes?
I just don't get why Schumer (and other comedians who come under fire) dignified those complaints with a response, unless it's just for publicity. People are going to complain about everything, and most of those complaints aren't worth addressing.
They built you to destroy you.
Some people on GAF sure don't give a crap about other people's feelings when it comes to "comedy". We really need to stop putting offensiveness on a pedestal.
Agreed I never understood the appeal of her shtick.
jerry seinfeld
seems like an extreme comparison, her show has a lot more minority representationShe's almost as bad as Jerry Seinfeld.
Comics just need to realize that jokes that work when the topic is about an individual won't nessecarily work when talking about a group of people. Jokes based on stereotypes aren't clever and pretty low grade comedy.
What if comedians use racist jokes to be racist
Amy said:I enjoy playing the girl who time to time says the dumbest thing possible and playing with race is a thing we are not supposed to do, which is what makes it so fun for comics.
That and the joke is old and tired. It's been told a billion times before and in better ways.
i always have issue with this sort of statement.
its old and tired to you, but its always new to SOMEONE.
jerry seinfeld
What about this joke?

He's not funny and his jokes are 20 years past their prime.
Of course there is always the kid that gets to stay up past 9 for the first time, or the amazonian tribe that views tv for the first time.

This is bang on the money. Saved for future use.

Everyone should be so lucky to hear black stereotypes for the first time
Generations from now, kids will be asking "Grandpa, where were you when you first heard that black people yell at the movie theater?" Let the nostalgia begin

Yep, we definitely need laws dictating what is and what is not funny. That'll work out just fine.
If something doesn't get laughs then it doesn't get used. This is especially true of successful comedians. So if people didn't respond to that material then she probably wouldn't come out with it.

Nope.
