Diamond's shipping list for May 25th 2005
---
This week, I'll be getting:
BATMAN #640
FLASH #222
GREEN LANTERN #1
JLA #114
OMAC PROJECT #2 (OF 6)
SLEEPER SEASON TWO #12 (OF 12)
CAPTAIN AMERICA #6
ULTIMATES 2 #6
Captain America #6 is my last issue, unless things shape up pretty fast. If the Winter Soldier ends up being
, I'm flushing Captain America #1-5 down the toilet. You can do better than this, Brubaker!
Point of interest: Sleeper is almost coming to a close after one very good season, and another pretty lukewarm season. Season Two has been a endless "blah blah blah, whine whine whine" drag so far, so I'm hoping it ends on a high note. #11 was probably the only stand-out issue of the entire season.
And I usually don't condone this type of behavior for overhyped Marvel mini-series', but word of warning: RESERVE YOUR COPIES OF HOUSE OF M #1 NOW. House of M #1 is already sold out at Marvel, so don't expect to find it in shops on June 2nd. If OMAC Project was any indication, fans are actually rushing to the shops to pick up these hot books. There's a good chance that House of M will be total garbage, but at lease you'll then be able to resell your copy for $25 on eBay!
