I prefer Gleason's Superman design.
I like.

Really? What's the name of the arc or the number's? I'm interested in reading it but I don't follow comics too closely. I remember liking the character and finding out he got killed seemed like a dumb thing to do. So your help is much appreciated.
But I liked the collar since it made it the whole suit look like a uniform and not a costume.I'm glad the regal neck collar thing is gone from his costume at least.
Thanks MartyStu. Will check them out.I would suggest reading the entire Tomasi/Gleason run starting at Batman and Robin #0 and ending at #40.
If you just want to know what happens between his death and leading to his resurrection, then read from 17 or 18 up through 40.
It is pretty great.
And mostly self-contained.
One cute gag about the series is that between issue 19 - 32, it is named Batman & [Insert character here]

Chinese Superman tho. Anyone gonna make a thread?
You'll want Tomasi's whole Batman & Robin run, because the whole thing is great, but for just the little bit:

I'm working on an OT for the whole shebang, but if anybody wants to, go nuts.
Red Hood and the Outlaws by writer Scott Lobdell with artist Dexter Soy, launching in August and shipping monthly. "Red Hood decides to recruit two new outlaws to make a dark trinity: Bizarro and Artemis of the Amazons," Johns said.
What were you planning to put in the OT?
"Were?"
Should be are, typing faster then I'm thinking.
lol
I'm trying to put together a one-stop source. What is Rebirth, what's the general outline of the changes, when is it starting, a list of creative teams.
Cool, I was going to suggest a suggested reading section. Super League by Tomasi runs into the Superman Status Quo, Abnetts current Aquaman and Titans Hunt are precursors to their rebirth sequels, and that Jurgens Lois and Clark book.
You might like it.Scott Lobdell is writing this?
Not touching that with a ten foot pole.
Skip.

He did when he was writing Superman then came back after he left.Did Scott Lobdell ever stop writing that book?

I really love how Green Arrow looks in Rebirth
You might like it.

Haha, they really just adapted a bunch of film and TV designs. Not that I'm complaining. Better than that over-designed nonsense that they peddled five years ago.I really love how Green Arrow looks in Rebirth
There's a press event going on right now

Johns said characters like the New Gods, Shazam, and the Legion of Super-Heroes would all appear once Rebirth gets underway, along with other properties, and that there is a "Story to tell" about how some of them make it into the universe.

Still Ben Percy, the guy currently writing Green Arrow.
Chinese Superman has my attention, as does Superwoman.

I'm glad Gene Yang is staying, hopefully he gets less editorial oversight compared to his Superman run, which was plagued by cross overs. I've always wanted more heroes based in foreign countries, I like the great ten.
Yeah, his Superman run got strangled by editors and crossovers. Hopefully having his own book will fare better.
Okay, so, out of the stuff they went over today, for sure getting:
Blue Beetle
Batman (Tom King tha gawd)
All-Star Batman (Snyder also tha gawd)
New Superman
Superman
Supergirl
Batgirl
Wonder Woman (MOTHER FUCKING GREG RUCKA)
Detective Comics
Action Comics
Super Sons
Red Hood and the Outlaws
Titans
Teen Titans
Aquaman
Suicide Squad
Flash (Probation)
Green Lanterns (this one's gonna have to prove itself)
Action Comics (Also on probation)
edit: Nightwing! Can't abandon my boy Dick.
On second glance, that looks pretty Arrow-y
can't believe they haven't given that Baz guy a not so terrible costume yet. Ugh Lanterns are so terrible these days. Where the hell is Kyle?
Seems like there is quite a few interesting books that I'm going to have to look into. Nightwing! Titans and Super Sons are definite must reads for me.
