The Convergence books don't tie into the regular books. They are versions of the characters from different worlds. That's not the same Kara.

I'd imagine that was writers not knowing what was going on with Supergirls main book (ending/being cancelled) and the fact that Convergence was a bunch of two issue stories not really connected to any stories except Convergence.

Oh man, the Cynthia Nendoroid came in today (along with the cute little Clawitzer plush I used to bump up to free shipping) and... that is a HUGE Garchomp that she comes with. Like, it's supposed to be the "accessory", but it's easily the bigger figure so it totally feels the other way around.

Oh, and in actual comics related discussion, reading through the second Johns GL omnibus, and I'm enjoying it. Just about to where Blackest Night is going to start.

It's a nice-looking piece.

Bleez is my first of the Cover Girls statues, so I don't know if this is the case with the others, but are they all made out of such a light material? It feels like the same thing the Batman B/W statues are made from, which is cold-cast porcelain. I ask because the Bombshell statues and the Vertigo Cover Girl statues are both made of the heavier stuff.

I would definitely check out Justice League 3000/3001, and Omega Men if you don't mind that the latter only has a few individual issues released so far (I think #4 comes out this week). It's fantastic, though.

Something else I've started reading is Alan Moore's The Saga of the Swamp Thing. Finished up the first volume and enjoying it so far, even though the melodramatic tone of the art gets tiring at times. Also goofy.

I heard good things about Aquaman, Green Arrow's run by Lemire and Flash's run by Manapul/Buccelatto. Wonder Woman's run by Azzarello too.

Awesome order! I just read Sleeper pretty recently and it's AMAZING.
And Batman Inc is of course brilliant. Good stuff, Cheska.

550 issues into this Chronological Marvel Reading order, and I think they've just bounced about 20 Thor issues at me straight (with 2 REALLY bad X-Men stories thrown into the mix in between).
Thor is slowly growing on me, I did like (and at the same time found it odd) the wrap up to Jane's story with Thor. It was interesting to see how a mortal reacted to becoming an Immortal. It was a little disappointing that Sif appeared pretty much as soon as Jane was out of the picture, and even stranger that Thor was essentially creeping on a girl he used to babysit!
Thor v Trolls story arch has been better than I expected, and I was almost starting to warm to the Thunder God as a character, but still Stan Lee seems to just ramp up Thor's abilities and powers whenever he feels like it to wrap up a story in the last few pages.

Understatement of the century.

It's a fun book. It's not Babs it's Steph. Which is fine but they were meant to be writing Babs and it feels like a completely different person. Babs Tarrs art is amazing though

Nope. Those are two series I'm going to start grabbing, actually.

It's all just been sitting in a pile in my room for like three years. I just want them all gone. I'm getting some really amazing series out of it, like the complete Giffen/DeMatteis JLI, DC New Frontier, the complete Immortal Iron Fist, more Hellboy, Lumberjanes, the Link to the Past manga. DC One Million, some more Dragon Ball, and tons else.

Even if I could make actual money off of it, I wouldn't know where to begin, how to price it appropriately, or who'd want to buy crap like Deadenders.
