even switching avatars away from Olivia for a minute makes me less likely to buy Harley books....
Hey Messi, if you go to Yamato USA's website, you can see the artwork for the next Luis Royo statue - Poison Ivy.
Oh my god
Where do I deposit my money?
It's too bad that the weird bondage Catwoman they did first doesn't fit in line with the other two Sirens.
Not all of the experiments succeed, of course, but the co-publishers said, despite rumors to the contrary, the companys not backing down from the DC You approach.
If youre trying to build a fan base, a new audience, youve got to nurture it. Youve got to take your time. Youve got to take your losses, DiDio said. Sooner or later, its going to take hold and hopefully be a leader in the business. Right now, our goal is to try and feed out as much product thats as different as possible to try and attract the widest audience possible.
The company will start adjusting a little bit, and start to focus, he said, looking at whats working with the new DC You initiative and what has not.
We had some hits, we have some things that are under-performing, Lee said. What we (did) in June is definitely step one towards this sort of transformation of the (comics) line. And I think that story is still being written.
Feel free to make an lttp thread for the yt videos they are among the best fan prdouctions a series like sf could have.that sounds excellent

Howard is Relaunching in October with the post Secret Wars books. Plus a new hat.
Wow, Sarah going all-in with this alternative naming thing.
That's some dedication.
The L.A. Daily News posted a piece on DC's move to Burbank - and DC Entertainment in general - with comments from Dan Didio and Jim Lee. Most notably, they talk about the Bleeding Cool DC You rumors:
So I finished the Humdinger and Bubs' Shop hardcovers, along with the Humdinger Tours TPB at the end. It was all pretty great. I think I have to agree with Lunchpod in saying Humdinger was my favourite. Pity the second hardcover is delayed and the current bundle doesn't include past the third TPB for it. But I can go forward with XO Mango Ward and Zune It Tea into Armbar Haunters.
Sin City "To Hell and Back" is a really great story so far.
Big Damn Sin City is SUCH good value.

He didn't even try to deny the money issues at all which was the biggest part of the BC rumor and depending on the adjustments being made BC could still be right.
This is an amazing and terrifying level of commitment. What is Bubs' Shop supposed to be?

Bloodshot.
I literally just figured it out. lol.
I realized it wasn't the most snappy option, but I wasn't going to skip going in the HSR direction on it.
I too like my comics to double as weapons for fighting burglars.
By the by, be warned, Bloodshot is the hammiest of the Valiant series.

I don't like the site at all, but they seem to have legit sources at times and it kinda looks like they were spot on about the money think based on what Didio said.
I didn't have any issue with the first hardcover. Does that pick up with the B.A.R.D. Crops?
Oh, you already read the first. You're good then.
And Kipp is all about value. Even with that FroYo manager money.

DCBS!
These are basically the same book aren't they?
Can't believe how fast these Sunstone books are coming out.
should have waited for the OHC
Sunstone just makes sense to get a hardbound edition.
He said that is his desire for the book if it ever gets huge and when he completes it. To do a leather bound version. So see you guys after vol 20 to complete our tpb collections.
Will that have the option to be used as a blunt instrument?
Manhattan Projects Sun Beyond the Stars #2: I thought about switching over to trades every page of the book, i need to reread #1 because all i remember isGood stuff but the schedule kills it. Random 8/10 for quality despite that.the dog getting humanoided and the judge a little bit
Wait, when did the second issue come out? I completely missed that. Just picked it up off Comixology, but like you I'm going to have to read the first issue again because I barely remember what happened.

Finished Justice League Origins (New 52) last night. Pretty good. Nothing incredible but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Also started Volume One of Nightwing (New 52) and I really like it. My first real foray into the character.
So I finally got caught up on Supergirl today, and I'm really fucking confused.
At the very end of Issue 40, the last panel shows that for some reason she's human now... and then the comic ends. Like it never explains this or anything, and as far as I can tell the line also ended. But then in convergence, she's floating in space alongside Kal El again...?
Like did the creative team plan more for her but then the line was cancelled without them being able to finish it or what? Or was the turning into human thing supposed to signify the end of Supergirl altogether and the Convergence team not know that was happening?
I mean, Superboy was confusing as all hell and a mess narritive wise but at least it bothered to explain how Kon came back.
Also, having read Teen Titans finally, it's refreshing to read something that manages to top itself over and over with insane shit happening while still being fun. Superman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, and to a very small extent Batman all kind of fall flat in that regard.
