Not sure why people think the GL line is going to be smaller in June, none of those books were solicited as final issues. More than likely Tomasi will take over the main book, Bedard will go back to GLC, and they'll bring in new writers for New Guardians and Red Lanterns. Although personally, I'd much rather see Red Lanterns rebranded as a Tales of the Corps book and cycle stories through the other non GLC corps.

Looks like I'll be picking up Batgirl and Robin: Year One. Promethea looks interesting, but that's way too expensive for me right now. I hope it doesn't go out of print immediately.

I'm hoping Lemire takes over GL. He's getting name credits on JL Dark and Constantine just to keep sales up while Fawkes does the heavy lifting. I think GL, Green Arrow, and A-Man wouldn't be overload. He's probably already done with his Vert stuff coming out later this year.

Lol, just when I decide to drop it, they decide to shake up this boring ass foundation. I hope Miles gets a personality during the timeskip and we can get a good support cast. Chubby lego nerd is NOT cutting it.

Heh I've shared similar sentiments to yours in regards to the current Joker story, and after reading up on what happens in #17

I keep seeing people shit talk Red Lanterns and yearn for its cancelation but its been at 35k-40k almost consistently even up to current. Lets cancel a successful book because you/they don't personally like it???

The same way people bitch about Hal and say Kyle was the best GL and then ignore the fact Kyle stars in his own book and is doing awesome things.

The last good Green Lantern spin-off title i've read was:

Get back to two books. I really liked Bedard's Rebels, but i haven't liked a single arc of a green lantern title by him. If Tomasi and Bedard aren't off green lantern books and are taking over Green Lantern and Corps respectively, maybe i'd give Tomasi another chance but it would be the only book to get one.

Avengers 1-5
Kinda mixed on this one. The first little arc was pretty good, Ex-Nihilo is a pretty cool character and they conveyed a real danger to the Avengers very well I thought. The issues after were scattershot. I don't know if it's brilliant in the sense that letting us get to know these characters is aprt of the larger arc and it will all come together, or if it's confusing and poorly done in the sense that this is just re-tellings of origins and not really going anywhere. Time will tell I guess, but I am on board.

New Avengers 1-3
Holy carp, this book is AMAZING. Black Panther is fucking awesome in this, as well as Namor being his arrogant ass self and Tony being spot on. Even as awesome as issues 1 and 2 were, I wasn't prepared for how badass issue 3 was, especially with the last few pages. My jaw was literally hanging open. The best moment I have had since I came back to comics, and made every penny I have spent since then, even on bad and average books, well worth it. I cannot wait for issue 4. Might be my current favorite comic, although it's going to face some tough competition once I read all the issues of Thor: GoT, Hawkeye and Saga. What a great time to be a comic fan.

Not sure what Larsen was talking about in regards to Image being unable to publish that page of Ant without it being put on the porn shelf. They publish Saga (a comic that has shown penetration) and that doesn't show up in the porn section. Hell they published Black Kiss 2 and that basically is porn.

I recently read Spider-Men and found it kinda fun, are there any follow-up to the events in it? I know it doesn't get mentioned in ASM at least.

Oh and I might want to get into the avengers again with the re-launch. Which book is the best and who are on what team?
