Aye to that. As much as I enjoy reading him, sometimes he'll love a thing Marvel does and then he'll hate on a DC book for doing the exact same thing in the exact same way, seemingly at random.
And anyways who needs him when it's obvious I've got the best taste of anyone in this thread. Yeah I said it.

That'd be like 90% of his articles. I actually really appreciate his wealth of knowledge and research skills but his opinions are often way to negative. Filtering those out of his articles still leaves many of them quite informative.
You have the best Twitter feed that makes me smile and yet I have no idea what is even happening.
If you haven't read X-Statix yet, most definitely read that. It's the definition of a fun-loving X-Men run. And it's just a super amazing run in general. AND the 1200 page omnibus can be had for $40 shipped (eBay is the place to buy it).
It's really an all-around no-brainer if you haven't read it yet.

You really ought to get around to reading X-Statix! And probably Uncanny X-Force. I myself still need to get around to reading Uncanny X-Force...

The first two or so issues of Zero Year were garbage and that's why I had no problem dropping it.
Yeah this is actually true. The first few Zero Year issues were not good.
The Walking Dead is better than most of the books Image has to offer.

Just read the first two chapters of a Birds of Prey volume I picked up from the library. More fan-service than a harem manga. And the faces are very weird. (Art seems to be by Paulo Siqueira).

Most Image books have stellar #1s but few of them maintain any level of quality. Most go off the rails, hard and fast, reinforcing the fact that while too much editorial is a bad thing, too little can be just as problematic.
Deadly Class has been six issues about a terrible person who doesn't even live up to his hype having an acid trip and getting the shit beat out of him. School for Assassins? Shit, that was everyday at my high school.
New 52 detractors seem to think, through their rose tinted glasses, that most pre New 52 stories were good and that most post 52 are bad when, in fact, that quality is roughly the same if not slightly better overall. They let their disgruntled fanboyism and attachment to something tenuous at best (the concept of a concrete continuity) blind them.

the reality of it is that batman is evil himself. he doesn't stop criminals because he gets off on the chase. i imagine after chasing the joker for months of end, finally capturing him and getting put away into an unproven prison gives him a enraged erection, which he masturbates and spunks into his bat-flannel or robin's mouth.
