TFAW is saying the B&W Harley statue got delayed to June 18th?
Holy shit. Ever just forget a book you read. A book you know you liked?
Sure it isn't just old age setting in?
Holy shit. Ever just forget a book you read. A book you know you liked? I was looking at my Batman books because I finally purchased Dark Victory. I saw The Black Mirror on the shelf and I wanted to look at the art again so I pulled it off the shelf and flipped through the pages and was amazed I couldn't remember a damn thing. The only thing that stuck out was Dick Batman and Gordon were on the roof and when Gordon turned around and saw Dick still standing there he was surprised. Now I have to read it again.
You lucky dog, what I wouldn't give to forget a book that good and have the opportunity to read it like the first time again.
So here's what I picked up today at the signing, got the print, these awesome custom short boxes and Harley Quinn #1 signed.

Also be on the lookout for a Loki one, I'll be picking that one up as soon as I need it.Neat! You have a Boxes in Action shortbox! I have the Galactus and Captain America ones....I need to add Harley to my little collection.
I'm sure things will come back to me as I read it but just looking at the art, I was dumbfounded.
Man, you make me want to read that Black Mirror's trade again.. as much I love Snyder's Batman New52 run. its still not beat the run that trade collected IMO, so good..
Btw I barely remember thing from past issue as well lol.

He also answered a few questions about the series
No plans for Catwoman so far, he said to ask Jimmy and Amanda about it.
He just recently finished up issue seven.
And he said to look forward to the guest artist coming up cause they are new.

i can barely remember what happened in the last issue of a book i read, even worse with delays.
Stop objectifying Harley, Messi.
Also, time to read Suicide Squad.
Don't waster your time with Suicide Squad. Hopelessly written Harley Quinn.
I think I'm a bad person because the scene in Suicide Squad #30 where Black Mantajust slams the fast food workers face into the computer screen to get arrested again made me chuckle more than it should have.
I'll give you that. It made laugh too.
Deadshot is so delightfully smarmy too.
Batman Eternal #8 question
was that Catwoman in China at the end? Looked a bit like her but not in line with her current comic look.
I just started reading comics again a few weeks ago after a 12 months hiatus. I picked up a bunch of stuff at random (mostly DC though, I don't really know why...) and now I'm trying to decide on which books I intend to actually follow.
I've decided to drop Future's End, it's just been incredibly boring so far. And I must say that I'm not really into Batman Eternal either... I'm willing to give it a few more issues but when you look at the creators involved, the end result is quite disappointing. I love the idea of a weekly superhero comic but it seems that nobody has been able to replicate the success of the original 52. It wasn't perfect but what a fun read it was every week !
Aside from that, I'm slowly catching up on Green.Lantern Corps and Justice League 3000. The latter is surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting much from it and the first issue left me cold but it has become a pretty great book, kind of old-fashioned in its storytelling but in a good way.
What's the consensus on the best X-Men book right now ? I tried Wolverine & the X-Men but I found it almost incomprehensible.
On the non-superhero side, I just started reading The Wake and I'm loving it. Any other suggestions ? I'd like something relatively recent if possible, without too many issues already out. I've seen people talking abut Trees a lot in this thread but I'm not a big Warren Ellis fan unfortunately...
John Layman said on twitter that it's a new character.
See now that's just confusing. It's clearly stupidly close to Selina.
From his twitter: The lady at the end of Batman Eternal #8? You have not met her before. You'll have to wait a week for a proper introduction.
They might kill off Dredd, they've been cutting down his supporting cast for awhile now. Dude is nearly 80 in the books and Mega-City One has been through a lot of huge disasters recently (as in, more than usual).
Anyone have a list of statues they are picking up over the next year? I don't really get too many because I hate a shit ton of clutter, but I can't help but pick up the new Sandman statue, iZombie, and the Harley statue that is out this fall. After those I'm done for a while.
bombshells Batgirl, Zatanna, Black Canary, Stargirl. Harley Black & white. Cover girls Batgirl/Batwoman.
Oh geez I forgot about Bombshell Mera. Picking her up also.
It's clear that Future's End is editorially mandated to hell. I doubt we will see that many characters until after the September event. It's evident at this point we won't be seeing characters that have oneshots in September. And what the hell did they do to Amaya's design? She looks like a psycopath that took a Flobee to half of her hair and a suicide attempt or two after her boyfriend broke up with her.
Try to name 3 new characters from the last issue of Walking Dead. I sure can't.
Hey guys,
I was wondering how everyone protects their trades. Does anyone even make bags for them? I'm not to worried about the Hardcovers, I'm more worried about the soft ones.
Just put them on a book shelf. No plastic or anything.

I'd just suggest periodic dusting in this scenario. Too much build up could stain the pages.
Guys.
I just finished Ultimate X-Men. All of them.
A giant tidal wave of water killed half the team and a ton of superheroes?
Was Marvel serious?

I can't believe it. What a joke.
The Madrox bomb stuff was pretty legit though. That makes sense and is quite evil. But water? Ew.
The drug and Ultimatum stuff really brought down an otherwise very enjoyable series.
superheroes are still susceptible to drowning. unless marvel make like a , anti-drowning man or something.
If you stopped at Ultimatum, you are not really done. I think that series became Ultimate Comics X-Men, and continued for 30-40 more issues.
Loeb smash, basically.
