Complete quests in PS Home get access to Killzone: Mercenary Beta and more

So when it says Log In Later Today, Can I go ahead and assume it 3-4 PST as that's when they usually udate.

I haven't had a chance to check yet but I think the update should be live now. They started posting the blog posts after the updates went live. Unless the E3 space will be up at a later time.

The PS+ trial doesn't stack and you can't have had PS+ int he past to use it unfortunately. This was answered on the blog post.

Virtual E3 booth pre-registration is now live on the Navigator in Home, though I don't think the Beyond: Two Souls theme is up for download yet. The booth itself opens at noon PST Tuesday, June 11th.

Will be downloading and playing home for the second time ever for them themes. Then probably deleting it again and forgetting it exists.

So how do you get the Killzone Beta reward? I don't see a quest.
The booth opens at noon PST on June 11th. The quests, rewards, themes, etc. will all be available there along with some exclusive Home items and other stuff in their kiosks.

Are there many separate servers or will we be able to see each other?
Instances fill up after 40-60 people show up, and there will be a LOT of people logging into Home next week, so expect tons of different "servers"/instances. You can invite someone on your friends list to your instance though, if it isn't full.

This is awesome. Things like this is what makes playstation home shine.

I don't even know why some people on here don't use home often. It's freaking amazing. Really hoping it makes the transition to PS4 anddd stay on PS3.

Thanks for the heads up OP!

I have a stupid question though, where is the theme once we sign in? I don't see it anywhere in Home. Or could they be showing up as downloads next week? I checked the PS Blog and didn't see the question asked on there.

I haven't been in Home for 4+ years but If I can get a free month of plus then I will do it. Unless it takes a lot of effort.

Not much to do there aside from awkwardly wandering across some admittedly interesting locations and maybe playing some equally awkward minigames. The events are cool though, but they are not very frequent. I wish they'd deliver on their initial promises: a trophy room, a place where you would be able to see all the games for the platform.

Those were the only things that had me hyped for HOME. I hopped onto the early alpha in a rush just to be met by Bowling ques, bubble machines, and internet pool.

That reminds me, time to update my year-out-of-date- client for PS Home. It's actually a decent place to be around E3.

Decent by real-world standards, or decent by PlayStation Home standards? Because one of these things is not like the other.

What I mean is that there are usually some interesting little game related kiosks. I had fun fooling around with the quests last year.

Wait a minute! There's a Killzone Mercenary beta?! Yessss. I was literally just thinking that a beta would be great after the reveal of warzone and other multiplayer stuff today.

Ugh... I love and hate going on Home during E3.

I mean I only went last year but IT WAS JAM PACKED in the room with people.

I only install and uninstall for E3 since they make the room look pretty cool. I did all the quests from last year too. *sigh*

This year its probably going to be way worse since last year they only gave away home cosmetic wear.

Its actually a pretty neat place. They try to make it look like a real virtual E3. I recommend NOT TO go during the press conference. Or atleast the E3 theatre. Its brutal because the room is packed in the theatre and its a laggy mess.

Anyways, guess its that time a year again to download N' install home again.

Never really tried Home. I don't know why but just thinking about it makes me exhausted.

Technically I never gave it the shot that it deserves but its actually a large niche of people that actually like to go on it and pay for cosmetics. Kind of like second life or the sims.

It doesn't appeal to everyone though, but I have heard tons of stories from friends who enjoyed their time there and meeting and talking to people. I'm guessing that Home will be on PS4 since it has amassed a large userbase and still has weekly updates.

The people who frequent home aren't the people you are going to find on GAF. I was surprised to realize its actually more popular than I thought it was, because it has a large following on the community message boards.

When does this stuff come up?

When E3 opens the rewards will start to happen.

The beta access will be whenever the beta is ready.

And honestly, the beta is about the only worthwhile thing on that list. I'm sure the dynamic themes will be extremely lazy and not worth the effort.

The costumes they gave people on Home were better as was the PS3 controller-ish furniture stuff the past two E3's they've had the home booth there. I may delete some stuff and do E3 on Home again for the outfits if they're giving outfits out again. But I'm kinda tired of the scavenger hunts they do for those items. I really wish they'd just hand them out for showing up.

if you own a vita, those two free games are worth it too... two solid releases.

You mean those Playstation Mobile games that hardly anyone will care about nor play? Eh, I guess... but the beta is still the biggest deal here. The trial doesn't stack to where it's pointless, the themes are most likely going to be lazy and only "move" something to have "dynamic" slapped onto them.

I'd honestly rather it be the beta + PS Home items, personally.

I know Home gets bagged on a lot, but every year I go into their E3 virtual presentation and run through the hoops to get free swag. It is kinda fun, couple years ago I scored a full body suit that lights up like Tron and says 'E3' on it. That and the 3d Matrix glasses are/were pretty cool. Last year was not as impressive but still fun.

Wasn't last year the first time they actually gave something not an outfit out? I remember them giving some furniture out either last E3 or the one after the Tron outfit (so 2011?).

Sony also did some Make.Believe branded stuff like a drumkit and posters that same year. It was nice, because they NEVER gave free-only people a bone in regards to decorating their homes with stuff that wasn't paid-for-store-glitches.

That Dual Shock 3 coffee table is pretty nice, you have to admit.

Honestly all i remember are the god of war hooker boots and chains, and some bikinis. I very well may have missed some stuff.

--edit-- and the parappa hoodie and sly backpack(?) and some other stuff.
