two people don't need to be with the kid at the same time; take turns.

Also, according to my dad, you'll lose that "new father" mindset quite quickly and start to fantasize about the time when the "little shit" is out of the house for good.

Well I can somewhat correlate even if in another level, Im a surgeon and after my little girl was born I was never able to deal with kids in ER anymore, only adults, so I deferred this patients to my colleagues. Something changes when we have kids, thats for sure.

Have some alone time, just for you and kids this age shouldn't have long screentime.

As a father of 2 kids (21yr old boy/man and a 15yr old girl) I can honestly say that having these kinds of emotional reactions to fictional things sounds weird to me. I'm probably not the best judge though, as I also find it weird when people have these kinds of reactions when things happen to real people you don't know.

Don't play video games around your 1.5 year old. Not because they're bad for your kid, but you should be interacting with him or supervising him as he's getting into trouble on his own.

You tell 'em girl. We need to go even further and create more stories that bring awareness to the negative part of having kids. Like... the fact your life will no longer revolve around gaming and gaming only. Who in their right mind would want to live like that?
