After reading the whole exchange, I have to take Mickey's side. I mean, the place he decorated in Miami was filled with Matisse paintings! Roque is just jealous he's not on his level.

I don't know why people are so caught up with class.

I like my modest roots. I wouldn't trade it for anything...though I wouldn't complain if I had a few million in the bank right now.

The sad part is that I'm fairly sure he will get away with this behavior.

Why again aren't we allowed to eat people like this for the benefit of the rest? Wait
does eating the rich actually work? Do they even taste good?
They would probably have poor texture because they've never had to work in their lives.

Intelligent wealthy higher class people know that it's better to be discreet and keep a low profile in order to avoid jealous frustrated low class people

Agreed, they're probably all sinuey and stringy...

Because they taste bad....would that make them an exotic delicacy? Something that would end being something only rich people can afford?

Statiscially speaking, if you were born a Billion Times you would have some really damn good odds of having a Baroness as a grandmother a few times. Heck, your odds are good enough that you would likely have the same grandomther, or just flat out be him.

he never says that you would be born as a human every time, so the odds might actually be pretty poor.

Can't comprehend a worldview in which having a baroness for a grandmother and being born into the right social strata is seen as a personal accomplishment.

True, but imagine how worse it would be if it was bolstered by law?

You mean like crazy low estate taxes and capital gains taxes? Bolstered by an ability to afford the best lawyers and accountants to bend the law to your favour? No laws against the concentration of media ownership?

Edit: I get what you're saying but man, the rich tilt the field in their own favour all the time in all manners of ways, not just the obvious.

There are more than six billion people on the planet.
