Killzone has obscene, almost pornographic texture detail. It's crazy.

I loved the game, but I know some folks didn't.

Destiny looks great too.

Killzone's textures are amazing. Haven't seen better yet.

I imagine Uncharted 4 will be the game to give it a run for its money, but man, KZ: SF is an amazing looking game. Guerrilla are most certainly wizards when it comes to manhandling PlayStation hardware.

I was also really impressed with how good the textures in Bloodborne were when I saw it at E3 this year. That game is a fucking stunner running on a PS4, even with the dodgy framerate.

Finally decided to finish this after I stopped at chapter 7 months ago. Pretty game, pretty bad game design. I really shouldn't have waited until after Wolfenstein: TNO to come back to this

Killzone: SF still might be the most beautiful current gen game for me. I think it just eeks out over inFamous: SS and Ryse.

I think I'm one of the few people that actually really liked Killzone Shadowfall. I still think KZ2 is much, much better, but I thought Shadowfall was pretty good. Then again, I don't play a ton of FPSes, because it's my least favorite genre.

The last really good FPS I played was Resistance 3. As for KZ: SF, I liked the presentation, obviously, and it had some great moments (exploring the derelict spaceship was amazing, and really made me want to see a space survival horror game from Guerrilla), and I thought some of the gameplay mechanics like the OWL were really good. Art design was top notch as well. Level design was open and non-linear in many ways, which was a far cry from the strict paths of the previous Killzone games.

KZ: Mercenary on Vita was still better. Lol. Even so, I want to see a Killzone game that actually does justice to the awesome lore of the franchise. Guerrilla...please.

Now that my KZ rant is done, some screens:

This x100. I always get crap for saying this but the game was dull. It was gorgeous, but it felt like a task instead of a game to finish.

WOW! Sniper is just so clean with the AA.

The second shot has some pretty noticeable aliasing, but that's basically a nightmare scenario for AA.
And it really shows off their sweet AO solution/replacement.
