Is that game just softcore porn? Not that I have a problem with that, just wondering if that's why the characters cost €200.
No, it's a 3rd person shooter with an anime-bullshit-Evangelion storyline which is a 50-50 on how much you can follow before handwaving it as gibberish ideology. The game wasn't doing so hot, until the devs doubled down on fanservice by adding 'lewd' skins for the characters, various non-story modes and tasks to keep you occupied and the occasional 'interactive scene' like the one I posted (which currently are very few). At this point I suffer from this psychological condition where you refuse to stop doing something because you've already invested a lot of time on it and don't want to see that time going to waste. Gameplay's fun, but it isn't anything to crow about.
As for the 200, that's the most amount you have to spend if you are really unlucky in your 'draws' (I think this is the term when the game rolls the 'dice' on the percentage of you getting the character you are going for), and if you do not play any game content to grind for the resource used to unlock/buy characters. Only problem is that the biggest source of that income is the story mode, and the story mode will eventually end, reducing the amount of 'crystals' you farm by up to 60%. Now I haven't done the math yet, but if you need 16000 crystals to unlock a 5-star character if you are really unlucky (if you don't get the character after using 100 tickets - each of them costing 160 crystals - the game will automatically give that character to you), and if the game gives you 18 days to unlock that character, and if you more or less get 150 crystals per daily/weekly tasks if you no longer have story mode chapters to beat ... I think that you will be forced to either pay some money to get the character, or just farm at a much slower pace and get the character when she eventually returns to the limited offer store, and you have grinded for 2-4 months in order to get the character.
And of course, the exact same rules apply for weapons, basically doubling or tripling the amount of crystals you need in order to maximize your chosen waifu's effectiveness in combat.
Theoretically you can get everything for free except for the interactive scenes and the occasional lewd skin. If you are willing to grind (a lot), 95% of the game's content is free and unlockable.
Ehh, all those UE5 games starting to look the same. Technically impressive but like copy pasted.
So just like UE4 games with ENB?
