Cyberpunk 2077- How to hack video game magazines

They should not be selling the game for base consoles in the current condition.

Good for us who read forums and whatever but most people I assume when they buy a PS4 game they expect it to run properly.

The marketing for this game is and was deceptive.

Regardless of whether or not people should play a new game on 7 year old hardware, the marketing here has been dishonest. FFS they deliberately tried to hide the state of the game on consoles.

Media outlets should have refused to review it at all once it was clear they were not going to be allowed to show footage or review the console versions on day one.

I am a little disappointed in certain YouTube channels also who gave the game a glowing review but didn't really hammer home the state of the base console versions.

Nobody comes out of this looking good.

Pretty shocking to see all these high scores from media outlets that must bloody well know that their audience is mostly going to play this on a base console.

CDPR should have released on PC and next gen consoles only. Selling this on PS4 knowing exactly how bad it is and knowing how many will buy it before they are properly informed is unacceptable.

In any other industry an attempt to deceive customers like this would be seen as a major scandal. It should be no different here.

They're crooks, and no one should trust a word they say ever again. All that stupid ass marketing they did with their pretentious documentaries. All the influencers they bought off and put in the game. All those E3 appearances promoting the console versions. The blocking of showing ANY footage other than their marketing materials for all reviews - this was a heist.

Companies have faced difficult decisions like this in the past, like SQEX and FF Versus XIII. SQEX correctly cancelled it on PS3, and released FFXV on PS4.

CDPR have been promoting this game on PS4 for almost the entire duration of the system's life. It was announced in 2012. CDPR have made hundreds of millions of dollars overnight selling a broken, unplayable game to millions. The media covered it up and helped them do it at every step of the crime.

PC gamers that can't see the problem are genuinely selfish people. A AAA PC game wouldn't even be able to be made at this level without all the money from console sales. This was a straight up scam.
