CYBERPUNK 2077 |OT2| The Last Samurai [>56K Warning_]

I think the last game that I enjoyed this much was The Witcher 3. I really love this game and can't wait for them to make it better. It really sucks that some people are having so many issues that they can't enjoy the game.

The cars are so fucking insane. There is so much variety and each one is so detailed. And the weapons are very impressive as well. Such an impressive game.

I am now doing missions outside the city and it is a nice change of pace. Love doing jobs out there and getting to use a sniper rifle.

Got my PC back, all clean & upgraded, so back in game today 😃 I think my always CTD 45 sec into driving issue has been resolved, as I have tested out driving & not crashed whilst doing so yet. Have had 2 non-driving CTD in abt 3hrs, which I hadn't had in ages tho, lol. Anyways, happy to be playing again, am currently cleaning up open quests that required driving, then will maybe go see Takemura; he has been waiting ages. Ran by him a bit ago, realized I had the wrong quest tracked when he greeted me; as I ran away, he called out something like 'do I have ADD' lol

It’s ironic that a game that sports so little car traffic, with streets almost deserted, I keep being run over almost constantly . Never happened to me in any other open world game, so it must be by design.
Because other open world games just dont have that thing, here cars dont stop if you just go into road ,in most othet games cars just stop to let you easy steal any car, not so simple here. Made it more interested i think.

25 hours in and man, the main story missions in this game are incredible. So are a lot of the side missions. The environments are also incredibly well crafted. I feel like they have so many damn amazing pieces, but they just ran out of time to glue them all together in a really compelling way. Still a fantastic game as it is, but definitely can't help but feel the missed opportunity as I continue to play.

had no idea you could eat all the food etc and it gave you perks.

Why would you drink the booze if it reduces your movement though?

Should I sell my junk or I can use it for something?

Gotta keep hydrated, especially if you're using melee weapons a lot. My guy drinks a lot of water. I just sell the alcohol, though.

The goodies arrived - yes, I tripled-dipped - and, man, it all looks fantastic. I would have preferred to get it for the PS5 but frankly Microsoft has behaved better than Sony throughout this entire debacle so Xbox it is.

Game looks and runs great on the Series X. Not so great on the Betamax, chunky OG Xbox, but I was expecting it to be worse - guess the 1.05 patch smoothed things over.

Is there a way to find the hotel the Heist mission took place? I want to return to it but can't find it and no guide mentions the location. Any one know?
Someone said Araska tower at waterfront but I assume you want to go back to get stuff you misssed? You can get back inside but it is pretty hard IMO:
Video demonstrating how to get back into Araska tower weapon spoilers

Judy NSFW.. its camera's fault but must be done to remember . nice textures there. i guess its once in game so might as well look at that properly. without photo mode you would never even saw this, so here it is
Scalman! If all you got was Judy on the couch you best reload a save and try again!

Anyway, I felt CDPR actually outdid themselves with this scene. Perhaps I havent seen a lot of roamance scenes in games (not usually my thing) but the whole Judy storyline was amazing. The writing, the graphics and animation, ....and to top it all off the scene on the deck after and the sun rises like 30 seconds after you say "see ya Judy" I got video footage of that sunrise as I didnt leave and just stayed there beside Judy for a few more minutes, the eyes lighting up when she touches your hand to give you access to her pad and sun breaking over the mountains was done very well.

The mission design in this game is a throwback to the 90s.

I was playing that mission where you’re helping Panam to save Saul (Soul?) from the rival clan. I found a way into the base through a pipe, and ended up in a basement with Saul right in front of me. But the game wouldn’t let me save him. Instead it wanted me to go up to the 2nd floor in the “main building”, past all the enemies, to the security room where I was supposed to use the cameras to locate Saul before I could rescue him. Except I already knew where he was. He was right in front of me.

Absolute shit design.

After 100 plus, I managed to finish all the endings. I only encounter 1 bug game-breaking during Star ending mission.
Love the game so much, time to clear gigs and sidequest. I hope DLC will be better.

are there any content differences between PS5 and PC? Stuff like censorship?

I was really trying to play it on PC but it just can't take it. Will probably buy on PS5.

I can't figure out how to upload images to this site now... otherwise I'd show you an example of SONY's censorship in the game

I have it on PS5, runs smooth and looks good. Will look even better when the nextgen patch drops. I had 5 crashes in my 45 hours so far, I say go for it. I didn’t regret it.

Haters can keep posting GTA comparison videos, meanwhile I'm utterly lost in the story and atmosphere every time I pick this up. This game is so freaking good, 30 hours in and definitely feeling like my GOTY and one of my fav of all time, and it's only going to get better with age. I'm constantly in awe at how much detail CDPR has crammed into this world.

There are so many nice looking guns but you can't hold onto all of them. How do you guys manage inventory?

Im level 10 now and I get mostly green and odd blue level weapons.

Should I just keep dismantling the greens?

whenever I pick up a weapon I check if its stats are better than my current weapon. If not, dismantle.

I keep one weapon of each in my inventory [katana, handgun, assault rifle, shotgun, sniper rifle] and dismantle everything else.

If you want to keep more weapons, there are perks and cyberware that increase your carry capacity.

I dismantle anything worth less than 100 dollars, sell anything above 100. Usually I just look for higher DPS but if a gun is Epic, Legendary or Iconic I tend to stash it.

50 hours in now.. Have a lot of fun amongst all the glitches and flawed city simulation (I was watching my son playing the now "old" GTAV on the XSX yesterday, it's sad how it's in another league simulation-wise than CP). With 3-4 months more of polish this game could be an absolute masterpiece. My sympathy to the actual developers for having such shit management.

By the end i only used the unique weapons you find along the game anything else i sold or broke down. Early on just use anything that's higher dps than what you had since any build won't matter all that much with too few perk points spent. If you really like a specific gun keep it upgraded with crafting although it rapidly rises in component cost with every upgrade, if it's unique try to upgrade it to the next level of rarity.

Haha loot noobs, i pick everything from ground like vacum cleaner ,and then its time to visit nearest drop point . Everytime im ready to do next side quest first i check how much weight i have then sell most just then i go to mission. No other way haha. On some shooting enemies can have those large heavy weapons that are about 10kg and more if you pick those just couple boom you overweight. So plan before. Im loot man. Guess why i like division games , because all the loot...ahhhh

Don’t you have your nudity filter on by accident? I’ve seen a lot of nudity on ps5, joytoys without underwear on standing on Jig-Jig street for example... The nun is getting boned by a demon on my posters...

First, I decided which way I will play in the first playthrough (Reflexes + Intelligence, so Handguns, Assault Rifles and Blades) keep the best weapon in class, dismantle or sell all others. Also, I keep all Legendary weapons just in case. There is no point in hoarding weapons, you overlevel them fast and upgrading costs a lot of materials.

Keep an eye on Crit Chance & Damage stats.

I've found Overture Legendary Power Revolver, put silencer on it and it has +55% Crit Chance and +50% Crit Damage. From gear I also have additional +15% Crit Chance and +30% Crit Damage, unlocked some perks and my stealth headshots inflict over 9000 damage! I'm level 25 now and one-shot all enemies. Don't know is it a glitch or maybe Crit Damage percentage and headshot multipliers from several sources multiply, not add together. Also this gun has low rate of fire (means high damage per shot) and great intrinsic headshot multiplier, which help immensely.

Also, couple of days ago I've found nice SMG with 13% burn chance and coupled with high ratio of fire it burned everybody alive in a couple of seconds.

60+ hours in and this game truly delivers!

Got my PS5 yesterday and ofc I tried CP asap. The difference from my PS4 Pro is really a night and day experience!

From the inconsistent subpar 30fps with sound delays, horrible driving etc to the almost silky smooth 60fps and fast loading.

It’s like a new game. Really looking forward to the coming PS5 version with more bells and whistles

Finally moving to Pacifica following Evelin /Judy main quest. I wonder if I follow this thread all the way will it lock me out from the other main quests. I have not gone to Afterlife or follow Takamura lead at all.

I don't know if it has been posted, but for those who find the blur brought by the dlss excessive (even on "quality"), there is a trick which allows to make textures much crisper, in combination with the sharpening present in the nvcp. Download nvidia profile inspector, go to the cyberpunk profile, set "texture filtering - negative lod bias" to "allow" and then set "texture filtering - lod bias (DX) to -1.5, then enable the nvidia sharpening from nvcp and set it to 0.60, set also ignore film grain to 0, start the game and disable the film grain (which adds too much noise). Finally I got an IQ which is almost the same as my native res. FYI, I am playing on a 1440p IPS panel (xb270hu), maybe for higher resolutions you can choose a lower sharpening value.

From what I understand, those main quests do not lock you out from the other two.

Finished the game yesterday. ~43 hours total, completing most of the sidequests while ignoring some gigs and street fights.

I had 1 CTD, 3 instances where I had to restart a checkpoint and a very minor number of non-intrusive visual glitches.

These guys will have my money day 1 for their next game as well.
