Yeah that’s how I feel too, I just love this game with the bugs and all, it’s rapidly climbing my top list, when it’s good it’s better than anything I’ve ever played.

One annoyance though, driving on PC is the worst, I feel like I need to pick up a controller whenever I’m driving, I don’t get how people can drive using a keyboard.
Bikes vs. Cars feel like two completely different games. Former are super responsive and smooth to drive, cars feels like you're driving on ice. They really need to tone down how oversensitive steering is.

Control settings no enough for that? At least on pc there are handling mods so thats not problem at all.

i don't think you know the meaning of "concept"

also how did you discover it? can you access it in normal gameplay?

I understand the meaning of "concept". They clearly wanted to implement this location in the game. Most likely they run out of time and never finished it so all we got is this low-polly building surrounded by nothing. Maybe it will be added in the DLC, seems like a rather cool place to explore and maybe do a heist in.

I explained how I got that shot in my previous post.

Definitely feels like it. The whole north of the map feels unfinished. Oil fields, this casino, a quarry / factory next to it...

Few more shots taken from the top of telecom antenna located in Impala Automatics (don't ask how and why I got to there...).

Location from your second screenshot is being used in
Panam's ending.
I encountered it randomly before doing it and thought it was unused/cut content too.

I honestly don't get the complaints about driving. It's fine.

My main issue with the game is the enemy AI. Even since the update it's still a bit off for me. Some enemies will just stand there starting at a blank wall. But even this isn't game breaking for me because most of the time, enemies are pretty good at putting up a fight.

I finished the:
River Ward questline yesterday. He's a cool character, lovely big arms.

The stealth vignette effect needs to go. Do not like it at all.
First time I've seen a sandstorm in the city, has that blade runner look
Same thing when it rains, looks amazing, but it seems like unless it’s triggered by a mission I never get any dynamic weather, it’s always sunny and clear except in the industrial area where it’s usually foggy. I sometimes have wet streets as if it rained when I load the game up, but I never get any actual rain or dynamic weather.

This is not a concept though. The casino part was the main thing mentioned about North Oak in their main page, as If it were one place you would be visiting within the game.

They either saving it for a DLC/Expansion, or they couldn't finish in time, or both; or maybe they decided to fully put the idea in the trash can at last minute.

It's a concept as of right now, is it not? perhaps they planned or intended it to be in the game but for whatever reason it didn't make it. that's a concept.

maybe they are leaving it for expansions. the way GaviotaGrande GaviotaGrande made their post sound was as if CDPR just cut it out and it was to show how bad/unfinished the game was.

they just decided it wasn't to be in the game or it will be added later. either way i don't see the deal.

PS5 unfortunately in this case lol
yet another reason to play on PC lol

I've done most of the stuff that need to be done, with the exception of Beat the brat and I'm now finishing all the side gigs and ncpd scanner hustles. I must say that the side gigs (most of them) are boring. It's basically like the ncpd scanner hustles, go to location, shoot everyone, collect loot.

Nah, like I found a weapon and it has a good mod that I want to put on my current weapon.
You could get the “Waste Not, Want Not” perk from the Crafting skill in the Tech Ability Attribute. It allows you to keep all attached mods when disassembling an item. Granted, it's a little far into the tree and you'd need 16 Tech.

Feel like I should run the main story now because I have so many side ops I want to do but also feel like it would be cool to beat the game without them and see what that’s like. Then on new game I can play on hard mode and clear the map.

What’s the plat like? Are there any really crazy trophies?

Anyone can point me at where to buy the Quadra Type-66 Reaver?
Stole it once and it was gangbuster, would like to have it as an always option.

Obvs tried to google it already but with no luck.
One of the fixers will offer it for you so you might have to advance the story a bit e.g. Mr. Hands
I got 3000+ armor at the moment and I'm yet to meet Takemura at the dinner. I'm immune to gunfire. And I look fly.

Crafting is the best way to get the weapons you want, the gear you want and the mods you want.
This is just really good game design and really bad gamey design - a whole world of weapons and armour is kept from you unless you upgrade Tech tree.

Damn it's probably intended, but smart sniper rifles are pretty op... You can only shot once but since the gun takes care of the aim for you and the ai only knows Cover and Pop out, you really just need to sit down, wait for them to put their head out allowing the gun to lock in and shoot... Most things die in one hit, some in two.

So I've continued doing side quests and having a lot of fun.

How do you actually raise the skills levels? I'm pretty much exclusively crafting ammo instead of buying and upgrading gear but I'm still like level 5 or 6. I'm lusting for the Black Unicorn sword but I need the grease monkey perk. My V is level 20-22 I think. Is it still too early?

I'm now 90% sure the Xbox controller going off when vibrating is related to the game. After launching the game I can play 30 minutes with no issues. Then it starts happening. If I go to settings and switch the intensity of the vibration it happens once more. After turning the control on again, it works normally for a while until it happens again. Rinse, repeat.

Crazy bug.

Which fixer? I've finished the game, I don't think it's about the story.

You raise your skill level by performing specific tasks. In case of crafting it's crafting new items or upgrading / disassembling existing items. The more you do it, the more XP you get.

Just bear in mind that your maximum crafting level is influenced by your Technical Ability level. So for example if your Technical Ability level is 6, you won't be able to level crafting higher than to level 6.

Craft some gun/clothing mods and then disassemble them to get quick XP.

Are you on PC or on console?

After some days of reflection and 50 crashes on PS5, I think I'm ready.

Here's my spoiler-free review of Cyberpunk 2077:

Imagine for a second that a third division team from England builds a massive, high-tech stadium. You'd expect that players like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would play there, but instead, only untalented and low quality players are using it. That's Cyberpunk 2077: a big, masterfully crafted, beautiful world, yet hollow and without substance. Night City is amazingly designed, but it is static, empty; you can't interact with most of the stuff, the city and its assets are just there for visual pleasure, it lacks interactivity for added immersion (which is essential for a game like that). You have no animations for eating, drinking, you can't just sit down and enjoy the city, there are no minor side activities to partake, there's nothing aside from the quests and excessive gang hideouts. This is actually very interesting, because a lot of the stuff that could make the game livelier are already in the main quests: you can drink during certain missions, you can also eat, there are dancing and sitting animations; couldn't they just add that to the open world as well?

Even if you ignore its dead world and game-breaking glitches, Cyberpunk is still a very flawed game, specially in a department that shouldn't have been flawed: the main quest. It is all too brief, some plot points that seem to be important are easily discarded and replaced by other stuff and then the game ends. No ending feels even remotely satisfying and your choices hardly matter in anything, CPDR could've just made a linear game without dialogue options and nothing of importance would truly be lost. Main characters are uninteresting and the overall plot is also lacking development, it feels like most of the effort was put in the secondary quests, which are probably better written and designed than the main content. If there's something that this game shines it is in its secondary quests, it is there that the best characters are shown, but I don't think that's a good idea; the game would heavily benefit from more time with characters in the main quest, and leaving the best of them to side content feels cheap and unsatisfying.

In the gameplay department, Cyberpunk seems to not know what it wants. It wants to have a Borderlands-esque loot 'n shoot mechanics, but the weapon variety is laughable. It wants to incentivize crafting, but there are huge roadblocks for the best stuff. It wants to make hacking a viable option, but it is too weird to be really interesting, copying Watch Dogs 2 system would be better. The level design takes some notes from Deus Ex, but it's still not enough; those games had a huge amount of options during missions, and even if you didn't have a certain amount of skill points, you could still find alternate paths to reach the objective.

Overall, Cyberpunk is a game that shouldn't have been released this year, it wasn't ready and there are a lot of game flaws beyond bugs and performance. I didn't really enjoy my time with it. There are good stuff, like the sidequests, characters and some interactions, but it also lacks a lot of stuff. I really doubt updates will fix most of the problems I have with it, therefore, it is probably a game that I'll replay after the next gen upgrade and then forget about it.

If I had to give it a rate, it would be a 7/10. Very unimpressed with it. Even without the technical issues, I don't think it even surpasses previous CDPR games.

Thanks! I'm on PC.

I think I'm level 8 on Tech. I pretty much pick up everything and disassemble everything that is not interesting or useful. I craft ammo mostly but have done some weapons. For example, Crafting a new Dying light was way more efficient than keep upgrading the one I had. There was like a 100 DPS difference.

I'll try craft stuff and disassemble. It's a very good idea that I hadn't thought of before.

The best way I found to raise the crafting skill level is to craft a lot of epic gash anti-personnel grenades.
It's the cheapest and fastest way because it requires 1 uncommon + 1 common parts and when disassembled you get 3 epic upgrades ,3 rare upgrades,1 epic component, and 1 rare components and a lot of EXP.

Awesome tip, thanks.

I can't play right now but is there any quest related to obtaining those schematics?

Just be mindful of what you craft. The entire crafting economy is rather funny. You can craft a mod for 5 common and 1 uncommon materials and then disassemble it for 4 common, 5 uncommon and 3 rare materials. Just experiment and you will find out what's the best to craft. When you disassemble items from the backpack view you can see exactly what components you're getting back.

The best way to find crafting blueprints is checking gun / clothing stores. Make sure you will check them, then wait 24 hours and check again - stock is changing this way.

The other way to find nice legendary blueprints is to do blue skulls on the map. Those mini-bosses drop them.

And since you're on PC I recommend to edit inputcontexts.xml file as holding the button for so long to craft something can become tedious. Instructions below:

File location : \Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config
File name : inputcontexts.xml

1. open with favorite text editor
2. press Ctrl+f and search for : hold action="craft_item"
3. Change default timeout value (0.8 ) to 0.01 (instant crafting) or 0.1 (really fast)

You can also change the decrafting time with this : Ctrl+f : hold action="disassemble_item"
change it to 0.1 .
I tried 0.01 and it seems to be hanging for some reason so i prefer 0.1.

Dlc location maybe?

I hope that casino area gets finished at some point, the concept art looks awesome and I'd love a casino/club area [with hopefully some minigames!].
I sincerely hope that area is included in one of the DLCs. A Casino is definitely something that Night City needs.

Hopefully it will be packed with mini-games and quests🤘💯

I love this weapon and I love how broken is the weapon crafting. And don't bother with upgrading, it's better to craft the same weapon than upgrade.

Again same thing once you get that widow maker and its better even to get in on higher lvl you just killing machine you dont need other shootguns or rifles now for long time. Its just that good on short and longer distance. Now all other weapon in loot will suck probably for long time.
