Just finished Episode 1 (took me 2 and half hours, trying to do all the side cases and exploring everything), and this game is amazing. Super charming and quirky, just like Deadly Premonition. Definitely a personal GOTY contender.

I tried with Kinect at first, but ended up just using a controller. I can see the action scenes maybe being fun with Kinect. I'll have to try that later when I have a better Kinect setup.

The two weeks between now and Shadows of Mordor and FH2, might prompt me to check this out. Though I've never played a Swery game, I like what's been shown and the price is nice. Will probably watch of twitch streams when I get home from work.

Oh good, its been a while since I played Deadly Premonition and I thought my mind was playing tricks on me. It was an awesome little in joke.

I'm liking this game so far. I took my time basically exploring and interacting with everything, doing so builds up a nice back story for David. I've completed the prologue (which took longer than I thought) and am eager to see where the game goes next.

I've played the first few scenes and honestly, what impressed me was the Kinect controls. I turned them on basically on a whim even though my current setup has the Kinect about 3 feet from where I sit. It still worked almost flawlessly. Was really surprised; I expected it to be very finicky or not work at all at that distance.

SWERY said there is no set number. He plans to add new episodes as long as people are enjoying it

Maybe try playing with Kinect to see if you like it, then controller if you don't? Or play through once with each

Getting to spend time with SWERY has been a real highlight for me this year.
