It's been a little over 7 years since X-play ended. I miss it. There I said it. It was a fun show. Like them or not, their reviews felt honest.

I give their show a 4........................................................... out of 5.

I remember watching him,Patrick klepak and i think it was Abbie Heape(could be wrong) on G4? It was a good group and good talk about games. There were a lot of good shows like that at the time, now all got TDS and woke and now are all....broke.

Adam Sessler

He was famous for being the host of G4TV's Xplay and the site's editor in chief. When he left he became the host of Rev3Games. He quit gaming in 2014 after the whole Gamergate thing.

If you want to know what kind of person he is, I think this sums it up perfectly:

I liked Sessler a lot at G4, but following him on Twitter was a mistake. All I see him do is trash conservatives and trash white people and go off about toxic masculinity and whatnot. I stopped following him a while back it was too annoying.

I have heard plenty of stories from those who have met and know Sessler and his reputation is not great. I have not, nor do I watch his content, so I will leave it there.

He didnt leave gaming, he was community mgr. PR for that developer who made the Friday the 13th game. Remeber all the hype behind that and was like, ummm there is already a game exactly like it called Dead by Daylight. We see who won that battle.

I installed the internet for his Spiketrap company when I lived in the Bay Area and had no idea he was the one who ran it. Vibe was weird AF, though.
 
I also remember Sessler during the DRM fiasco.


Considering the timing, I bet his return to gaming media is but a pitch for a PR position.

Sounds like it's been recorded in a cave. The first video in a new series from someone who's done professional broadcasting should at least be on par with 20 year old kids who grab a webcam and talk shit.
 
I like Sessler for quite awhile before... well before he turned into an embarrassment.

I don't like casting aspersions but gotta admit he looked like somebody with raging substance abuse issues by the end.
 
Last I remember of him was throwing a bitch fit about the "Bros Before Hos" trophy in God of War Ascension, lol.

Guess he couldn't learn to code.
 
I'm in the same boat, liked his content until he threw gamers under the bus just because we wanted ethics and less political correctness in video game journalism.

He will always be cool to me. Don't really care about his political views.

There was nothin else like Extended Play at the time. Discovering it as a kid was like discovering a rare earth mineral.
