Holy Crap, thats nuts!
The pic where his arm is just totally open, wow thats not how i'd immagine the muscles would look. It almost looks like a model or something.

dude.. please remove that pic. while i dont have any issues with it.. others might.. and there is absolutely no warning in the thread title.

Listen to him! :|

What are you supposed to do if you get bitten by a venomis snake? I've heard you're not supposed to try and suck out the poison, but by looking at that guys arm and the amount of tissue damage from a palm bite, I think I'd want to risk ingesting some poison while sucking it out.

I think you're supposed to make it bleed as much as possible. The poison is less likely to spread then and it might leave the body altogether. It's the same as if you cut yourself on a rusty nail/hook etc. Make it bleed as much as possible and then try and wash the wound

You're supposed to go to a hospital so that you can get anti-venom. Trying to "bleed out" the wound is simply something that you can do in the meantime.

I've known people that have been bitten before, but thought nothing of the bite/wound when it first started to swell until hours later. They almost lost their toes/fingers. Venom is deadly stuff...

I swear I've seen a lot of stuff in my life. But that...was...AWESOME.

Sorry about your arm dude, that...that sucks.

Sorry I should have said that. Try and bleed it out as well as you can but go and seek professional help ASAP. Squeezing the wound is definitely no replacement for medical help

After seeing that first pic, it makes me wonder how my arm looked during surgery.

I busted my elbow when I was around 11, and had to have it cut open so they could remove bone chips, drill holes, put in pins, etc. Granted, it was on'y about a 6" opening ... but I still wish I had some pictures.
