Y'know what's funny? My brother and I were just making fun of MC Groovz for Gamecube and how it's sad that MC has to deliver a dance game for Nintendo, when Konami could easily do it. MC proved a market existed, but Konami should have been able to take that risk.

I have always wondered why Nintendo couldn't convince Konami to release a Nintendo themed dance game and now... HERE IT IS.

This game is going to sell incredibly well. Wow. Smart move!

In brief: Nintendo and Konami are jointly developing, Nintendo is publishing it this summer. It will be a game that everybody can enjoy (natch). There will be many original minigames. It will be shown at the Shogakukan World Hobby Fair in the Konami and Nintendo booths.

From the screenshots it's possible that it could have some bonkers Story Mode, with Mario engaged in Austin Powers-style dance-offs with his enemies ...

Gosh does that game suck. But since we only have the GC, it's all we have. It's actually pretty amusing to watch my aunt dance to "Lady Marmalade" while my little cousins practice behind her like backup dancers.

Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix for Playstation was awesome. It was the one that gave me the most for my money, for sure. It's probably my favorite US DDR game, at least until that last one w/ Duran Duran came out.
