Steph needs the heat. Brie can then take a swing at her before getting laid out by Charlotte while D.Brine looks on in concern at his fallen wife while the announcers break out their Owen voices.

She wishes she had that Vicki Guerrero level heat. She tries so hard to get it, by emasculating the entire roster for 4+ years.

To all those really REALLY grasping straws....I'm with you.

at this point, it's sounding like he'll retire from WWE and go wrestle somewhere else. He's been saying for months on twitter that he's been completely cleared by many trusted doctors... all but the WWE's doctor.

Retiring seems to be a way for him to get out of his contract.

He has years left on his contract. The only way to get out of it is the WWE to release him from it.

I have never, ever seen what some of you see in this dude, to the point that you're not going to watch if he's not there.

He's your usual above average former indie workhorse. He doesn't have a particularly interesting move set or promo ability. He's a guy. CM Punk had everything this dude has plus a silver tongue and a built-in gimmick that allowed him to go further as a heel than anyone else.

Vickie has more heat in her baby finger than Steph does after half a decade of burying the entire roster. That's because Vickie is a bonafide talent. Steph is merely a hack who can't run Creative.

I really hope this is a work. My heart sank when I read his tweet. Hopefully it was just a ratings ploy.
Well, it IS a ratings ploy. But it's also NOT a work.

I can still see him taking on a managerial role in the ring. Dudes got talent for a lot of things and good brand. Or just go and live in the mountains. That sounds equally cool.

Tonight's RAW will be all about Bryan even if he isn't in the ring. It's in Seattle and the crowd will just drown the show with YES and Daniel Bryan chants and It's gonna be the most interesting RAW this entire year.

2016 has been crazy as fuck, friends.

2 remain.
Technically, Ryder does remain... just in NXT tagteaming with a bigger loser than he is.

As for Stardust, can we really call what he does these days "remaining"?
Dude is a categorical jobber and the calling card of wasted potential whenever he's on television. Sad because he's one hell of a promo.

CM Punk was never The Dazzler

Not only that, but I'm really sceptical WWE would let him retire like this. Sources have said he's not remotely interested in a non-wrestling role, so what we're looking at here is a release.

He's retiring from WWE. He's made it clear that he's ready to fight, and three doctors have his corner. He'll be going somewhere else.

I just don't see WWE sending him out white hot to another promotion.

Could be in WWE's mind having him announce his retirement might dampen anything if he went elsewhere. But we know how that is, if he can wrestle at all yeah he'll go somewhere else unless the WWE offers him a huge deal. The guy isn't satisfied with the small stuff that the WWE wants him to do.

Again only way he'd ever retire if he might die, he's that sort of guy.

Company ruined him because of Vince's dumb preferences on body types.

His idea of a dream Daniel Bryan match is him getting squashed by Shaemus.

Him and Sheamus isn't even a bad match. David just never beats Goliath in WWE. There's so much dramatic potential they waste by just having the smaller guy get squashed like a bug.

It's likely the WWE's view is that having DB around would just interfere with pushing Roman Reigns to the moon (like the Rumble last year). Since for whatever reason they're incapable of having more than one top face at a time.

Imagine today's WWE dealing with having Rock/Austin in their primes right now and how one of them would be held down due to their mentality of only wanting one big star at a time. Shit is infuriating sometimes.

Oh my God you guys have to be taking the piss now, right?

Didn't AJ Lee retire to get out of her contract? I'm sure she still had to sign a lengthy non-compete though, so if Bryan took that route, he'd still be screwed short term.
The non compete clause is complete bull shit, if he wants to go somewhere else there is very little wwe could do.

The American Dragon vs Drago in the Temple is going to be awesome.

Really though, hoping it's just a work. If he's actually leaving WWE there's no way he stops wrestling based on his previous comments and actions. Seems like a guy who will keep wrestling until he physically cannot move anymore, for better or worse.

wat?

Daniel Bryan was arguably the best in ring talent from 2012-2015 when given the chance. He would have been the top of the company if they didn't fuck with his push or get a shitty timed injury. Show me a wrestlemania where the crowd went ape shit when their hero won the gold. That has been lacking from wrestlemania for years. Dude was over as fuck.

Didn't Bryan say his doctors clear him to wrestle?

You are WWE. Literally dozens of former wrestlers have died early deaths from prescription drug abuse, trauma and suicide. You have a team of Doctors and a lead physician, who have strict directives and checks they need to hit before they can clear a wrestler. Your lead physician says "I'm not clearing this guy, and I probably never can" and three other random doctors say "Sure, he can go". What do you do?

You listen to your Doc, who is specifically equipped to make this call. You play it safe.

They would love for him to be healthy. They've been hit hard for injuries and having a guy as over as Daniel Bryan would be a huge relief to them, I'm sure. It is what it is.

So he got re-vitiligo in his time off?

When it rains, it pours.

Anyway I'm just about ready for anything at this point. Punk got me back into this madness but Bryan got me to stay. Him and Kane carried those 2013 Raws against the Shield and once Bryan got the hot tag especially during Summer 2013, no one commanded the ring and the crowd better than Daniel Fuckin Bryan. Sure his post Mania 30 was like an open world game where the campaigns done and all you have is some tedious side missions and bad boss battles (Kane in this sense) but seriously, dude's one of my all-time favorites and I wish him the best at whatever he does.

Dude had a career so many would want. May not be the best to end it, but hey what can you do?

Waiting to know if this is a work or not, but I'm not gonna watch Raw to find out. Haven't watched *any* wrestling since DBry was taken off TV.
