Greetings friends. If you are reading this, I am still alive.
I want to make the case against StarSketch today.
Off the mark... how exactly? She never explains her reasoning. This is a pretty obvious attempt to join Rats off To You (who I don't think is scum) and attempt a bandwagon.
And then look at her response when I call her out on an obvious bandwagon.
Her reasoning magically switches from "you're off the mark" to "well I have no idea who might be scum and who might be town so I went with whoever."
"I wanted to get a vote in that I thought would gain traction" is not at all like "you're off the mark."
And if I was so off the mark, why does she later have no idea who may be town and who may be scum? Wouldn't be being off the mark "quite a bit" mean she at least soft town reads my scum reads?
Note that this was in response to me voting Darryl.
Starsketch, pls respond. And give me a read on Darryl.
And also

WTF was that?
I'd be happy with Xam or Starsketch for the lynch. Blarg, you entertain me, but your persistence on the typo seems a little scummy too. Most scum wouldn't want to be in the limelight as much as Blarg is right now, but Blarg has to be in the limelight or he'd look even more suspicious.
I specifically said I didn't have any SCUM reads. I never said anything about town. I have a few town reads. Darryl is one of them.

Ty4on felt the need to "WTF was that?" when the day was ending.
Meaning he was watching the thread. This is especially curious after post #502. After reading that post, you'd think Ty4on would think the people he's fielding against SS is scummy.
Maybe he doesn't think Sky_Odin was scummy. But if so, why didn't he try to speak up for SkyOdin? Instead he waits for him to get lynched to react. He doesn't even follow up SS on her post. He waits until the day ends to "WTF" about the outcome. This comes across as very removed behavior to me.

This is just 30 minutes before the day ends. You were here right on the deadline. Why didn't you vote? Is there no conviction behind your opinions? You would've gotten her lynched after all.
(I apologize for my silence, it took some time to understand the expected flow of the day cycle and game. I'm sorry.)
Overall, I think that D1 is always going to be a challenge in making the right decisions when we lack the much needed context or information on everyone around us.
Having said that, Blarg's apparent dominance of this thread and being so quick to lynch people is curious
and the way Blarg and Xam have been working in tandem is equally so.
Town-reading Darryl is the most fatal mistake you can make in this game.
I'm the #1 Darryl fan, but he still terrifies me.

Me saving the day.

Are you scum
FROM THIS POINT ON, WILL NO LONGER SPEAK IN QUOTES

Me and blarg are masons IRL
God I hate long night cycles, I always forget what I did the previous phase.

Ok.

Nope.
Why?
I think we can trust Darryl
Why?
My WTF was directed at Blarg tieing the vote twice so close to the deadline. I didn't reply while he was doing it so I could have a vote ready to untie it.1.

I'm not saying I think Darryl is scum. I want to know why SS town reads him. Which is stronger than a null read.
I can't fault that reasoningAnd what the heck I'll drop a vote on Xam again too because I still find him scummy for his double dubious bandwagon.

Why don't you think they're scum either? Why don't you think Darryl is scum?
SS could be scum. What I'm most curious about is the silence of yesterday's lynch. There was hardly any end of day discussion. People were here. They are always here. So why didn't they participate?
1. Scum was on the line (StarSketch) and they didn't want it to become obvious they were attached.
2. Scum was fine with the end of day results either way.
Regardless my eyes are primarily on the people who decided that it wasn't worth having an opinion on Day 1. What the fuck?
Why don't you think Darryl is scum?
Hmm I actually am undecided on that. Star said I was "well off the mark."
I'm 95% certain Star is scum because she was really obvious about it. The question is was she defending Darryl as a fellow scum or not.
Why would she then be defending him like this when she's a likely lynch target today?
I'm curious of your Rats read as well. Don't think I've seen why you town read him if I read that correctly.

Honestly if I were scum I'd be trying way harder than this to defend myself.
But you know, It's whatever. If you wanna make yourself look bad, CB, it's your fall.
I don't find Corn's case to be terribly persuasive. I've known Star to be a fairly passive Town player in the past, so this isn't at all out of character for her. Also, the crux of Corn's argument is the idea that it's unbelievable that two different Town players could find him to be a suitable lynch candidate.
I'm not saying anything one way or the other about either of their alignments, just saying I'm not buying the argument. Darryl makes some much stronger points in his post IMO.
Corn's and Darryl's opening posts above feel pretty scummy, honestly
I could go for them right now, it's up to you though
Could you extrapolate on this? One second you're OK lynching him and one post later he seems to be a strong town read.Darryl is right, you know.

Kind of the same question. What are your thoughts the points Darryl brought up?I'm not saying anything one way or the other about either of their alignments, just saying I'm not buying the argument. Darryl makes some much stronger points in his post IMO.
The way you wrote that you thought Rats was town made it look like an independent read. Do you have any read of him?Because going in the reverse from yesterday would look even more suspicious?
And Rats is only town read for me because I can't see him and Star both being scum. I think Star fucked up, but I don't think her fuckup involved voting the same as a fellow scum. I think she was fine going with Rats bandwagon because she could then shift blame on to Rats if I was actually lynched.
The way you wrote that you thought Rats was town made it look like an independent read. Do you have any read of him?
There's a few things that give me pause, like him being fairly passive today.
Could you extrapolate on this? One second you're OK lynching him and one post later he seems to be a strong town read.

Rats especially. I didn't like how he just seemed to agree with Darryl without saying why.
I've expressed how I fell about this in the thread already, but basically, the last second voting behavior seemed pretty weird to me as well, and some of Darryl's behavior implies something specific.

Blarg, why did you try to tie the vote twice with a couple minutes left at the end of yesterday?
