Everyone else seemed to ignore you on this so I'll ask: why did you bring this up?

I was trying steer the discussion away from mechanics. Granted there wasn't much else to say and that's the only thing I could think of at the time.

I've nothing against CornBurrito at the moment that makes me think he's scum but at the same time he's not the worst choice for a lynch candidate.

Lord of Castamere makes a good case against FireBlend but this being Day 1, I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped town. Might be worth a punt?

You're intentionally inflating your post count, I wish I could get away with something like that. I could see you lasting longer that most players in this game but that unfortunately makes you susceptible to something else entirely.

I am sorry that bothers you, since I know it can be a pain in the ass to read through pages and pages of posts, but in this game the activity is pretty low, that's why I am currently playing like this.

Even worse after he turned up. Just standard sholck, and a bandwagon vote for FEP. Coupled with the Burb stuff, it just makes me more suspicious. I will say that if he is scum, it's not a good play right now, but besides going after an inactive, which he more or less is, I don't see a better path. So no, I won't be moving my vote by their actions, I will switch if someone else gives me a reason to.

Also, It's late, so I'm going to bed. I might not get to my remaining reads tomorrow, and I have class, so I might not post before deadline at all, not sure, I'll try though. Anywho, the summery is mainly, everyone needs to post more, except for nin, monkey, and Sawneeks, who are good people, except Sawneeks, who we should kill, because she scares me, alot, but she probably isn't scum.

I have a tough time reading Sawneeks or Oreo as scum right now. Hey_Monkey too. They're all contributing to the conservation in a way that I feel productive. If we're going to lynch, my choice would be someone like Corn or nin. People assume that scum wants to lay low, but sometimes a good offense is the best defense. Posting a lot without moving the conversation forward is an easy way to generate presence. That's the vibe I get from nin. Corn's post just give me weird vibes. I admit that there is little to argue with there. Sometimes you just have gut feelings. I'll do some more thinking about LoC, Stanley, kits, and Muffin before I place a vote.

Was referring to Lord of Castamere's reasons for suspicion when Burbeting gave Fireblend a pass for not being "dead weight" despite being absent most of the day phase.

A question though. How was Fireblend contributing exactly at this point? You didn't include him on your kill list, but at that point he had posted nothing. Still hasn't really fill-fulled his promises. I had, at least, one bigger post discussing my thoughts, at that point, but not Fireblend.

1. Because other people then talked about it and did the math, so I didnt have to. I also had something called WORK that occupied my time.

I understand that life happens, I really do, but as a 3 time scum, one thing I'm intimately familiar with making promises that I have no intention of keeping.

I wasn't expecting to vote for these two when I started, but it is what it is, I'm not getting good vibes from either, after my dig, and today might be our only big info lynch, so I think we should reap the soul of Fireblend. If my connection is true, and it might not be, we could get two scum my one lynch. In any case, my vote is decided.

Why Fireblend over Burb? Burb is at least contributing, if we have to kill someone I’d rather be wrong with someone that isn’t as useful, honestly.

They can counter this, of course, but I don't really know how you can without prior meta usage, which is lame duck excuse imo.

I think there's a fair chance that Fireblend, Burb, and one of the people on his list is scum.

Are you talking about me here? I didn't vote for FEP, but Stanley. Not that I think that changes your view of me? Just a clarification and it strikes me as curious that you named the wrong player.

Right now I don't think Verelios has potential of turning into dead weight later, if nothing else, he is usually around even as a scum.

When I say dead weight, I mean something scum can use to divert the attention from themselves by there being players in late game for town to do lazy mislynches on. For example, the lynch on StarSketch in love boat 2 was kinda like that - a vote on a pair of players who were lynched on weak arguments, but were done so anyway because it was easy for the scum to divert the lynch there. Dead weight also fits one of the scum profiles of a player who is scared of posting much, but is just mostly there.

So using a patented bear-bean-machine, I have a list of players I wouldn't mind lynching today:

I was kind of considering adding Fireblend and nin there, but Fire does usually post semi-actively, although he has bad case of blending in the games I've played with him. Nin isn't dead weight, but the scum does usually let him live for long time just to let him do his thing and confuse/muddle the waters in the game in general. But the five chosen are the ones that I wouldn't mind seeing gone.

I like nin's read list. For day 1, it does seem useful to judge who you would and wouldn't want to see lynched. I was thinking of doing something similar actually, based off usefulness.

Anyway, today I've been liking sawneeks, monkey, fireblend.

To a lesser degree, loc, oreo, nin, and stanley.

Would consider votes for isaac, kits. Day end is 4am for me so i definitely won't be around but I'm going to reread before going to bed. As of right now, i think cb is a fine lynch. To be honest, i kind of like cb as far as gut but my head actually does like the lynch. The math attempts feel townie but they are perfect to create that feeling.

I have been down the semi-active CornBurrito path before and he was not scum. Doesn't feel like the right lynch today. Still hold that kitsunelaine was acting strange. Would be okay with Fireblend. I'd think it's the latter. If I were the Arsonist, I'd take the danger of getting hit by the hypnotist over being to inactive and becoming the victim of a sudden lynch for coasting.

Town can really only afford to lynch for coasting early on, and honestly that tends to only happen on D1 and D2. In a normal game anyway.

Let me reverse that on you, what has she done that seems scummy? She's active, not only in contribution, but also discussion. I see no reason to suspect she's scum, as of right now, and I would be very much against a lynch on her.

Realistically, almost anyone we kill will flip town, I'm just trying to connect any dots I can to give town an early win. It's better than a *shrug* vote.
