What time does US PSN get updated? 9AM pacific? I am hoping I can grab it tonight (and I hope it will work OK on my UK account). Might get inFAMOUS 2 Festival of Blood but I guess that wont work with my UK version of inFAMOUS 2

When you play the game, the Arcade version sound infinitely better and more hyped to the race, and it was something I always felt pain about when I played the SEGA Saturn version when it was first released many moons ago. Thank goodness that the PSN and Xbox360 version of the game uses the original Arcade version music track as proven on this video:

I hope they are having the same control options as the Saturn and Dreamcast versions, Gears are mapped to individual face buttons. Allows for 4th>1st>3rd insta drift

I think this version would be good purely as a bonus but not as a default for the 777 Speedway track music. The song gets really good near the end but you won't hear it unless you are playing in Grand Prix mode (20 laps), and the problem with the song is that its not loopable which is something I cannot stand from racing games of today because it makes it sound like a normal music CD playing in your machine.

I seriously hope for a button remap. On my Model 2 version, the mapping are set to the following on the Xbox 360 pad (everyone else should follow this too):
Steer Left = Left Analogue stick
Steer Right = Left Analogue stick
Breaks = Left Trigger
Accelerate = Right Trigger
Gear 1 = Button X
Gear 2 = Button A
Gear 3 = Button Y
Gear 4 = Button B
View 1 = Directional Pad UP
View 2 = Direction Pad RIGHT
View 3 = Direction Pad DOWN
View 4 = Direction Pad LEFT
Coin = Button SELECT
Start = Button START

The game is out today and tomorrow and I have to admit, I'm shocked at how low key this is. Hope interest picks up when the games online and being played..? (I feel like Sega felt the same with the launch on the Saturn all those years ago!! )

Never played a Daytona game, I am cautiously optimistic about playing this with my full racing wheel/seat setup.

This will be my first time playing this game, will be buying based on the strength of the soundtrack
I made each image in the OP link to a different song from the soundtrack.
They're all from the arcade version, but there's an Extras section in the game menu that we still don't know about, so maybe the Saturn soundtrack will be in there (though I still like most of the original versions better).
