Soft pads are okay... I'm sure a DDR pro person would disagree, but they do their job just fine. They just slip around a lot. I just get those carpet mats that stop slipping and put it underneath the dance pad.

Since when has any US release been compared directly to their arcade counterpart? They want the lists to be fundamentally *different* from the aracade versions, actually, both to be more beginner friendly and to be, well, different. A lot of US players have yet to play a lot of these older songs.

Either way, they never intedned to port the arcade versions to home in the US. They use the name only to maintain the same chronological order.
