Does KoeiTecmo (GameCity?) not ship internationally? Maybe something like AmiAmi? I believe Nippon-yasan also does Limited Edition of games but I am not sure of their prices.

Keep an eye on AmiAmi and CDJapan. They'll still be pricey, but not quite as ruinously so.

Honestly, there aren't even. There are young looking women in this world but Marie doesn't have aged hands, wrinkles around her eyes, visible makeup etc. she literally looks like a CHILD.
And even if there were, the fact that we all understand her to "look" 13 doesn't change the fact that this is what people are attracted to.

Still doesn't change the fact that everyone getting hot and bothered by Marie are getting turned on by the fact that she looks really young.
People complaining about Marie looking young feel like they're new to the series. She looks just about the age of other girls like Leifang, Kokoro or Hitomi, the only difference is that she's flat chested. In fact, her personality is way more serious than other girls who do act like little children.

Yes I have been to Japan many times and I have never seen an 18 year old look like a 13 year old, but you missed the other half of my point... that even if there are 18 y/os that look like 13 y/os, the very fact that this is the appeal (whether realistic or not) doesn't stop the obvious fact that it means that Marie is supposed to look that young.

The thing is, we have the entire google to search for any image of a girl who is legal that looks as young as Marie Rose. I'd imagine that if it does happen, even rarely, then it should have at least some evidence on the internet. And yes, my partner uses makeup to look older, but there is a difference between looking "young" and looking like puberty hit a week ago.
EDIT: Being flat-chested is not just what makes Marie Rose look younger than other characters. (will be at work so won't be around to reply as frequently).
I didn't know that Ayane and Kasumi were underage previoiusly in the series. Marie Rose doesn't bother me one bit, nor does the "age" of any other imaginary anime characters. I just can't help but think that the only reason they list her age as 18 is to deflect criticism. So, just having a laugh. I think it's totally fine for people to like Marie Rose, she's not my favorite character but I don't have a problem with her or how she looks.

While I might agree with some of the complaints about Marie Rose I can't complain too much since I've been to Stockholm a dozen times and that definitely gives some perspective. Still, the intent seems pretty clear.

Fair enough with the second paragraph, but that's past an objective discussion and just touches on people's opinions. Regardless, this is my last post so I'll try to address as much as I can.
I'm not asking you to post pictures of your friends (why would I), but it's not like I was never a teenager. Girls stop looking as young as Marie Rose long before I took my GCSEs and that's of all ethnicities considering I live I London.
But my point is, I haven't seen. No I haven't checked IDs, if I had then I don't know and I'm not about to go out checking people's IDs. You have done a poor attempt at convincing me that I am wrong and I think that's because it's just not possible. In the light of evidence I'll look at that, but I am of the opinion that it doesn't exist. If Marie Rose was seen holding hands with another 18 average joe dude he would get in trouble, even in a country where the age of consent is 16. That's my opinion.
And by the way, I don't really know what I would apparently be searching in google, but I think at the very least the girl would be Asian right? Well, Marie Rose is clearly Caucasian, so I don't know why you're telling me to reflect on my experiences in Japan.

You don't seem to realise how ridiculous your stance here is. You clearly stated MANY women of age look as young as Marie. This is something you should be able to prove within minutes on the internet, without the need to throw pictures of your own personal friends up. If there are many, then your friends don't hold a monopoly on looking 13, and so you should be able to shut him up far quicker than the time you've spent replying to his posts.
He on the other hand is simply saying he hasn't seen a positive example... this is something which is IMPOSSIBLE for him to show you proof of. You can't simply provide proof of the absence of examples... that's fucking ridiculous. What's he supposed to link you to?
The onus of proof is on you here, as you're the one making a hard claim. Either provide it, or admit that you can't. You even admitted yourself that you're worried about browsing this thread at work, because you know damn well how Marie Rose looks.

Ayane and Misty were 16 and 17 in DOA before DOA5.
In Ninja Gaiden 3 they were 14 and 15.
Have you seen them in Ninja Gaiden? They act older in that than they do here.And yes Marie does act older than most of the younger girls because she acutally is.

Pretty high chance they get localized. The game's price in japan is inflated, I have a feeling they are being coy about other regions to get the japanese to not reverse import.
Region protection is highly unlikely as well, or they wouldnt be so coy about localizing it in the first place
