Capcom informs us that the Dead Rising demo is due to go live on Xbox Live Marketplace this morning at 11am BST.

According to a Capcom spokesperson, play is limited to 15 minutes in one section of the mall. We don't know anything else, like file-size, but we thought we'd let you know anyway. We'll update this item will full details just after 11 (when you'll also notice a slight dip in productivity).

And if a publisher says so, most of the time it is delayed. Microsoft usually spends more time than expected signing the demo. Microsoft gets the blame while the publisher wrongly announces the releasedate of the demo.

I wouldn't think it would be a UK exclusive. Eurogamer probably gave the time as BST because they are, you know, in Europe.

I swear to god, if this is one of those deals where the publisher is ready to release the demo but MS isn't (the Prey demo comes to mind)... There's no telling what I might do.

This makes the whole GoW releasedate thing seem like a joke. Epic says 'zomg big news in a week' and then underwhelms by announcing a releasedate everyone's expected, Capcom says nothing and BAM! there's a demo. :lol

Yup, you can. Go to www.hotmail.com and make a new e-mail address in the region you want to get content from. In this case, somewhere in Europe. You will need to use a valid postcode to sign up.

Then turn on your xbox and make a new profile using this e-mail address.
