Death Stranding announced for PC, early summer 2020.

It's good that PC players will get to experience the weirdness that is Death Stranding.

I'm not waiting for the PC version though, day one on PS4 Pro for me.

The game's going to suck so it's a moot point.

Even Sony knows it. There's no way they'd let it out on the PC if they actually thought the game was good. They know it's dog shit and are hoping to recover some of the costs on the PC.

No one gives a crap about this game. If you want to be useful, put Bloodborne on the PC.
 
Even though i have a pretty good gaming PC, i'm still getting it on PS4Pro day 1. I'm way too scared of accidentally spoiling myself while browing the internet.
 
It must suck big time having your games labelled as "<YOUR_FAV_CONSOLE> exclusive" but that exclusive tag doesn't apply to PC. :messenger_fire:
 
I honestly figured this would happen, especially after the reception MGS V got on PC. This is awesome though! If a game is SO good, let more people experience it!

Here's to hoping I enjoy it so much I double dip. :messenger_sunglasses:

People that actually want to restrict access to games are pretty much psychopaths. What kind of weirdo do you have to be to want to prevent people from playing games?

I doubt this is coming to Xbox. I don't think Sony would let that happen. The PC version was mentioned when this was first announced. I think Kojima wanted it and Sony agreed.

Interesting news. Makes it appear that Kojima's relationship with Sony is not as close as some assumed. Bringing the game to PC is one thing but announcing the PC release now is another. Would it have cost Kojima anything to make this announcement 6 months after the PS4 release? If the plan is for Sony to buy his studio this is a pretty strange strategy to set that up. Seems like he's staying independent.
 
I wonder what engine it will use? Fox, Unreal? Anyway, I am glad it is coming to PC as I really didn't want to play it on my base PS4.

Edit: Only concern is 505 games and putting on EGS. If they do that I won;t support the game out of principal and either wait for a massive discount or a PS5 release.

A - Having only that one console so they must validate the console they've owned and bitch about every game that is having a slightly chance to go multiplatform.
B - Having only that one console and weak PC so they must validate the console they've owned and bitch about every game that is having a slightly chance to go multiplatform.
C - Having that one console plus another one which they didn't appreciate that much so they must validate the console you've owned and enjoyed and bitch about every game that is having a slightly chance to go multiplatform.
D - Having one or more consoles but their favorite games are usually only for one specific console so they must validate the console they've owned and bitch about every game that is having a slightly chance to go multiplatform. (It's" C" option in disguise)
 
Dodging spoilers for 8 months is going to be impossible.

RDR2 got spoiled for me via a Youtube thumbnail.

I'm still not sold on the game but I'm glad it's coming to more platforms.

Hmm what a strange announcement...why not wait until the PS4 sales get going first......unless they're using reverse psychology and thinking people are gonna say "SUMMER 2020?? I AINT CANT WAIT THAT LONG"
 
Said it in that thread a couple of months ago. This project was always announced as coming to PC, it's just that outside of that first announcement they have kept quiet about it.

Anyway, Kojima still needs to learn from Rockstar.
First you release it on PS4 so everyone buys it and THEN you announce it for PC. That way you get the PC only crowd but also a lot of people who own both a PS4 and PC and will double dip.
