Yes, you need to have passed a certain point in the story to unlock a new menu option in the main menu. You can choose to invade friends, but both the invader and invadee need to change their settings to "friends only".

Not really, as the game involves so much replaying of the same areas already thanks to the loop mechanic, but invading people's games is fun for a while.

The 9.1 was for Ghostwire, but Deathloop was pretty decent. Bought it on the PC.Wtf!?
Wasn’t going to try Deathloop, but reading the description on the store, seems like it could be a good ride (Hades -esque?). Going to download it now.

The entire game is based around the premise of constantly replaying it, by the time you actually finish it you won’t want to ever see those levels again
I will probably redownload it tonight to get the extended ending and delete it again

This is why I love game pass. Otherwise I'd have to buy this game that has little to no replay value. I don't replay games. I beat them and move on. Gp is a God send

Don't expect Hades. The game is NOT a rogue-like, it's still very much a Dishonored-style assisination game. Breaking the loop is not a matter of grinding up power and gear. You work through the story and complete missions which give you pieces of what you need to solve the final puzzle of killing everyone in one loop. Despite the loop gimmick, it retains a pretty conventional mission and story progression.Wtf!?

Some places are saying 11 AM Eastern (i-e 3 minutes from now) and some are saying 12 PM Eastern (i-e 1hr and 3min from now).

I like that, that's an interesting way to put it. It maybe telegraphs things a little more directly than most Metroidvanias, because there are actual mission markers when you select an objective, but you have the general idea.

I preloaded Deathloop and will try it out when it unlocks. I still have a lot of doubts about this game, it just doesn't look or sound like a game I would like. But it got great reviews, a lot of people on GAF have praised it, it's from Arkane and it's on Game Pass so there's no risk in trying it. I hope I'm wrong and end up loving this game

Favor Quality seems to run at an extremely solid frame rate in the opening areas, or maybe VRR is helping me out here. Looks clean as well

Was going to play this with XCloud, but it keeps saying "Not Compatible". Uh, never heard of "Not Compatible" on XCloud. Gamepass even has a Deathloop tile that says "Play with cloud gaming". So, they've got something configured improperly.
Edit: Yep, that's the problem. They've got it configured wrong. If you click on the gamepass tile, it will tell you not compatible. You have to click "See in Microsoft Store". Then you can play through the cloud.

~2 hours here, playing and also installing something else off of disc right now lol, no crashes here thankfully.
This is the worse game Akrane has made.
There are big worlds, full of almost nothing, there are interactables but they don't really do anything worthwhile, the enemy AI is so fucking dumb that who cares if you trigger an alarm they fall like dominoes. All of the guns have no great impact, and the aiming is really odd.
This is nowhere close to a 9, it's more like a 5 or 6.

Played for maybe 45 minutes. I enjoy it, and the game looks really really good. I didn’t even realize it was next gen only.

I’m not feeling the media consensus of this. Are there visual options I have missed because I’m not seeing anything impressive graphically either,
