in searching for a release date for Defense Grid 2 I found this lovely youtube video from december that is an update. still set for release in 2014

essentially there will be two betas

one to test new features such as:

1. in game items
2. multiplayer
3. in game items from steam

Another beta to test game balance and fun etc.

I really can't wait
