It's probably concept art, but Bungie is very good about translating their concept art into in-game locations.

Yeah I agree.
I still don't think the 'battle.net' rumor makes any sense at all, considering the recent and very Blizzard-specific rebranding of that service. But Blizzard having involvement in Destiny 2 would be very good for the game. WoW's raid finder and LFG tools are things that Destiny 1 needed desperately.
