I finished the pass awhile back. Hope the XP changes will make it a bit easier for pass ranks next season because I doubt I will have as much time to play.

Titan could be wiped out. Even if it’s part of campaign content. They would have to rearrange things or maybe even remove the campaign from the game. I wouldn’t rule any of that out as I think Leviathan’s raid lairs are on the chopping block too.

I'm honestly 100% okay with there being no D3. Granted I'm not a video game designer but I'd assume if they don't massively upgrade the engine we'll be stuck with the same limitations were faced with now. But if they do upgrade the engine for next gen consoles/PC then that'd be leaving a lot of current console owners behind.

I game on a high end PC so unfortunately the games progression is tied to the consoles cause of the userbase. Hopefully they can figure it out though, I love the world of destiny, it definitely needs to be bigger but they're ready complaining about file size so I don't know.

Ever verse leaks confirms next season’s title. Season of Arrivals.

That leaks also confirms that the fall expansion will launch on September 22nd.

The original leak mentioned that one of the two new activities for next season takes place on the the moon’s pyramid ships. We shall find out tomorrow.

I like that they kept it quite. It’ll be exciting to log into a new season tomorrow and see what’s coming next.

honestly, I like that everything is kept hush hush. data mining is nice sometimes but I feel it's really getting to the point that there's no more surprise and fun because of it any more.

got on and did some sorting and grabbing all the seasonal reward out of the thing. didn't really do much in terms of bounty hoarding but I'm not too concern about getting a jump on next season anyway so I'm fine with it.

I know people will be pissed but I am actually happy there will be no D3. While I can think of hypothetical advantages to building a new engine I also see with the playerbase of both old/current/future systems coming out they'd be leaving people behind regardless. The idea of starting over all over again honestly seemed tiring and I don't trust they'd magically "figure it out" to make the jump worth it. So to manage file size they will simply vault old content and then add in new content which again I am perfectly okay with. Also I know I am falling for nostalgia but vault of glass and cosmodrome coming back are straight up making me horny so yea.

You can’t start playing endgame activities right off the bat and start at like 750 power lvl. They removed requirement to have beaten all campaign stuff to participate in playlist activities like strikes, pvp and gambit, and more etc... with the launch of the f2p version last year. You can just jump in

I don’t know if they boost you more but power climb to max power should be quick. You won’t be underpowered for anything really other than maybe trials of Osiris, the most recent raid, year 3 dungeons, and this most recent seasonal activity. And then there’s the artifact... I don’t want to explain that now lol... you’ll be fine. I know what you’re concerned about but that issue doesn’t exist like it did in D1. You’ll be near power softcap within a week or two at worst.

There’s a new legendary sword type. Vortex. I got one from the umbral engram at drifter and there’s another in the season pass. Basically holding the attack button launches a black talon like projectile. the one that dropped for me came with vorpal weapon too.

Dungeon is available. Maybe we meet the nine!? It’s power lvl 1040 so I have some work to do before I can play it proper.

New sword sounds cool. The seasonal exotic is crazy good especially in groups. Essentially unlimited gernades. Wonder what the catalyst will do to it.

I just realize that the exotic sidearm Traveler's Chosen that's in the database but not known on how to get yet, is actually the first gun we got after the tower was destroyed in the beginning of D2 and we were fighting for our life in the wild. only difference is, that gun was Traveler's Chosen (damaged) and has 0 power lvl and a white gear. how I know that you ask? cause I have it in the vault still... lol

The idea of old stuff getting removed are lowering my willingness to keep playing (the little I do play) because I don't want to loose the ability to complete armor sets or get a weapon or its catalysts.

Mars was very convenient for bounties that required a lot of kills, that's the only planet I'll miss. Everything else, including the Red War campaign - eh, don't care.
