I'd say it's actually closer to Halo shooting wise. Jumping is good, Double jumping is good, gliding is good, teleporting is good. I could go on and on since there is more then just regular jump. lol

The thing I liked least about Halo was the long TTK, so I guess this sounds pretty good to me. I come more from the Counter-Strike background of dead in a few shots, so I could never really get into Halo.

Man everything feels like Halo ; shooting, enemies and world.

Some dodgy ass re spawning from enemies "you cleared behind you and finished mission to bad all enemies in area instant re spawned deal with it"

It a blast to play though I had little excitement going into it but my interest has increased in game after playing some of the alpha

I actually prefer it to Halo, the gun play that is. It's weightier, for sure, and weapons don't feel as dainty. Even some of the subtleties in the recoil, sound, and camera shake just make the weapons I've used feel a lot better.

Then you're probably not gonna enjoy certain enemies or encounters (Fallen Knights, Fallen Walkers, Wizards, Sepiks Prime).

If you play it like CoD or even CS, your life will be really short. Even if you're managing your shields well, it's more lethal than Halo, but if you aren't used to managing your shields in a game, I could see how it might be really rough on someone.

Yup. I regularly find myself having to take cover when dealing with enemies on my level. You can't let them build up number wise on you or you are as good as dead.

Yup all of that works and is perfectly fine. Although the friends and family may not like you after taunting them with the greatness that is the game. Reminds me. I need to re-enable my facebook link. Had to disable that when this was on the down low.

Wizard story fight was pain solo but thankfully AI not that smart used the box on left of door to pop out shoot and hide. Then when he gets low health he starts charging you when time pull out shotgun. One volley of his shots pretty much kills you instantly kind of crazy.

Also speaking of AI with it being alpha being kind but it odd sometimes groups just stand in open but now and again they start flank and have others charge you.

Got to play just one pvp match but man I'm loving it. Maybe partially cause I did waaay better than I usually do (4.25kdr lol), but it felt like it could be the perfect mix between Halo and CoD. I'm personally more into Halo, but there are elements in Call of Duties I really really like.

Kind of excited and not excited about the pve gear in pvp. On one hand, finding something magical is really gonna be magical since you won't just be using it against AI opponents, on the other hand, it could get frustrating if you keep getting matched against enemies with crazy rare weaons.

Definitely a buy though when this game comes out.
