Anyone just get booted out? Says I need to be signed into PSN yet I am.

I only just finished creating my character, lol grrrrr I want to play!

Edit: Nope, now I'm getting PSN maintenance message. I really didn't mind this happening on PS3 but now that we're paying, it's happening a little too often.

Anyone noticed that the Hunter Vanguard its Nathon Fillion and the Warlock Vanguard is Gina Torres on the same table and they were in firefly together. I thought that was cool.

Is there a video with significant magic abilities being shown? So far I've seen nothing but pretty average shooting AI in somewhat large empty environments

Details, are you playing PVP, PVE, what?

Because I haven't noticed few - if any drops in player vs. environment content. I've played 10+ hours and I'm particularly sensitive to these things.

It's not a drop, this is from the get go. It's really choppy while aiming. I find it hard to adjust to moving targets as I'm also allowing for the fact that i can't aim smoothly. I don't normally play FPS at 30fps for this very reason though, so maybe it's me.

put in about an hour or so and enjoyed what i played. while i wasnt in a "party" i got through my first event with a couple people helping out (taking out a mecha spider thing)

Crap, this Alpha download is taking forever. Started around 6:10pm and it's only at %6.

Damn you Verizon :.(

Edit: Perhaps PSN is having network issues. Guess I'll just watch Gumball and Clarence.

6:41pm, still %6

*bites down on controller*
Grrrrlrjapskdkesnsklseke! Ahhhh!

Goddamit. Finally got my beta code, but as soon as I turn my PS4 on to download it:

"The Playstation Network is currently undergoing maintenance"

:(

Edit: Restarted my PS4, and I'm able to download it now. "Ready in 21 minutes" :)

Well, from the hour or so I've played, so far I've got to say, I'm really impressed and surprised.

I wasn't really that interested in the game, but after playing it, it's really deep. Reputation system, gear vendors, social hubs, grouping up for hard 'raids', crafting materials, ship and mount upgrades...

I knew it was RPG like, but I didn't think it'd be this deep, like an MMORPG ala WoW.

Add Callmeref if you want to play later, I'm down for whatever in a couple hours after dinner.

Gunplay feels really good. I have a weapon like the DMR in Halo, deadly!

But I'm kind of disappointed of the graphics. Art style is beautiful and so is the sky, but it looks more like a Xbox360 game.

I'll be on in five minutes, playing until my wife gets home. I don't have a headset, but I'll happily co-op with anyone. I'll be playing a new exo, which I'm making right now.

Is there anyway to turn the sensitivity of my characters movement (not sight) up? I feel like a slug when moving around, really not enjoying the PVP.

Those three hours went fast.

This is the real deal. It's very fun and pleasing and whenever you feel for a slight change of tone there's always something different available by setting a new destination.

It's all interconnected as if you were traveling from place to place doing these tasks and it's hard to let go.

I've played the beta today for 3 hours, leveled up Titan charachter to lvl8. Game rocks. I had a blast playing both alone and in a party. Sadly me and my party brought that bigas Devil mech in Crucible to 1% when some bug happened and I got thrown away from my party and with restarted checkpoint [boss back to 100%].

Game is veeeery different than Borderlands 1/2.

Game looks amazing for Alpha. Enjoying it a lot.

Is there a way to change character looks?

Shaders can be bought only when you are lvl 20.

Hey guys, I've registered a clan on there website and was just wondering how to change the clan avatar/banner? I'm not able to find a place to do so.

Thank you.

Impressed.

One of the best game I played in the late times... the graphics are sharper too... no blurry fest.

I played the start mission alone and the music and sensations are really awesome... the controls are FPS defaults so it was really easy to starters.

Now I'm on Tower.

PS. Thanks God I'm not regretting my preorder.

Bummer. Just didn't like a marking after a while. Thanks.

As I was watching the Giantbomb video on the alpha I got a code! Downloading now. This game went from low interest to very high this week once I saw the new videos and footage.

I've played a few co-op missions as well as a dozen pvp matches and the game is an absolute........the bottom line is that so far it's just fucking awesome.

The action in co-op is tense, it is a lot more difficult than many videos showed it before and the pvp feels very ballanced to me. I go with Titan class and its special/super abilities are pretty fun, once it's charged, you're a moving bomb, and if timed well it can be pretty devastating. (My record is killing 4 with one.)

I like the flood zone pvp map a bit better because the action is a bit more focused and matches are more intense, but the other map is great too, however that tank-like thing is a bit OP imo, as well as turrets. (It is possible that it's not OP, and it was only our team that was too incompetent to take it out.)

Weapons are great, especially the way you can unlock them (basically you just need to buy them).

Graphics-wise, the game delivers too. IQ is fine, textures are nice as well as geometry variety. Polished all-round, however the frame rate feels a bit chugy sometimes and I've noticed some tearing, but nothing serious.

I'm very pleased and I cannot wait to play the shit out of the retail version.

Thank you Bungie for giving us the opportunity to try it out.

Addition: I've been playing on a 200hz TV so the frame rate might've been a bit better for me (the perception). Also, the UI is the slickest and most beautiful I've seen in a game so far.
