So just to confirm, we don't get to explore the moon right?

Really pissed they put it on the map just as an ad in the end.

Level cap is 8, and the Strike and 5 story missions are all the content along with Crucible maps.

I am a my parents house that is 5 minutes away from my home and I have been playing with their 10mbit connections with almost no lag. Sometimes the connection gets a bit unstable and can feel the input lag or see screen artifacts but for the most part it is better than I imagined.

I finished the level 1-4 story quest without any problems. The controls are so good. No reartouch needed. You melee by touching the right side of the screen, throw grenades by touching the left side and use your special by touching the left and right side at the same time.

How does this look on ps3? on ps4 is breathtaking. Also.. i doubt this is the case, but is there cross platform activity? like teaming up with people that have a ps4 with ps3 and what not?

Accidentally started Devil's Lair strike last night looking for explore mode. Thought about dropping as soon as I realized, but decided to stick it out. Holy shit. Really fun. Bosses were cool, good mix of horde mode tactics and learning cues. Seems like they're tuned with a little too much health, that's my only complaint. I might have been underleveled at 5 though.

It gets tough if your team mates don't know what the hell they're doing lol

I was seriously the only one reviving my team and they kept falling back to shoot

I don't think they will open up anything, or raising the level cap.

This is a perfect teaser, everyone is wanting more. I don't expect there to be anything else in this beta.

I'm going to honest here...and this must go for the 360 also. It looks like hot garbage. It seems Bungie hit the ps4 and xboxone as their platforms and then backtracked the game to the ps3 and 360. It has to be quite low res and there is aliasing everywhere and all the character and ground models shimmer when they move. The skyboxes are heavily downgraded and the worse thing perhaps is the shadows. If you look at your shadow when you have a light source behind you it looks like it is 8 bit...it actually looks like it was built by stacking squares. They should have removed these shadow points from the game because evidently the systems can't handle them

Those things said it runs at what seems like a locked 30 fps and is super usable. There is no tearing (looking at you titanfall) and it seems like it was a very well executed port. But this is definitely a next gen game back ported to last gen. As far as i know there is no cross play and definitely none on xboxes' as microsoft usually doesn't allow that

So I dont know if it was just random bad luck or what, but I haven't played Rusted Lands or Blind Watch at all yet, and I've played around 20 Crucible matches...I got First Light 5 straight times at one point.

I just want to say, I'm sorry for throwing that grenade on you jett! I have no idea how to communicate in the game so far, and I was trying to find a button to do interactions. Roflmao. >_<

Thats rough.... as an artist i would hate to play this on previous console. Its just so nice to look at overall on PS4. Some textures that look weird. But the overall consistency across is very very nice. Will lots of people consider this as a console seller?

I think alot of people don't realize they have their party set to friends only. Every person I try to join in the tower has it that way. It took me awhile to see that mine was like that actually.

When does multiplayer open up?

There's a crazy cool Clan / Group system. Visit Bungie.net and select Groups from the left hand menu on the website.

Not on the beta. But there will be in the game. Gaf has a thread on it atm, trying to approve tons of people.

Woke up this morning and mine had finally downloaded, over 12 hours later! :/ Guess I can finally play it tonight though. Can't wait!

I wonder if the Golden Chests are just a thing they did for the Beta or if they will have that in for all of the planets in the full game. I hope it's in the retail version too. It adds something else to do plus saves glimmer on some items.
